  1. I read that as chopper. Which made me laugh like I used to watching Carry On Films lol Who, the wives and girlfriends? Lol:laugh1:
  2. So, if it were a choice of the Dolmar, Echo 280 or Stihl MS150 C-E What'll he be?
  3. Lol, this is why people have so called 'brand loyalty' If they all look similar enough 12 saws can masquerade as 3
  4. Since the OP has already purchased I'll just make some comments for other people looking.. Bought a Stihl FS90 cow horn model years ago, as below this model you don't get a solid drive shaft. Love the quiet and gutsy 4-mix engine. A true delight to use. However I also bought a much larger Kawasaki brushcutter which is a lot more powerful and feels more aggressive. I now have added a smaller Kawasaki loop handle jobbed for light weight versatility. The Echo seems worth a try by the comments above.
  5. Nextbase 202. Not bad for sixty snots. Having said that its forward facing and most of the road idiocy seems to be behind me so I'd go for a front & rear set up in future.
  6. By the way guys, please vote on the poll too, so we get a nice picture of the ownership spectrum. Thanks.
  7. Makes me look a bit stupid, I'll grant you. Don't suppose you're after a Stihl MS391 lol?
  8. Nice selection, keep the family growing brother. Justifies my obsession lol:001_tongue:
  9. Glad it's not just me!
  10. Tree surgeon?
  11. As the title suggests. How many chainsaws do you dudes own? In answering please feel free to state what your profession is, and which saws you own. I'm curious as I'm an amateur firewood cutter but can't seem to get enough saws in my collection Thanks.
  12. Very nice! How many beer tokens?
  13. How much was that wee Dolmar? Ok. Here's a cat amongst the pigeons... Which is better? Shavey's Dolmar 350 or Rob.D's Echo 281 WES? You can add to that the Echo 360 for good measure...
  14.

    <p>Same as before, just a different bunch.</p>

<p>Life in the vale good? I like The Sham of Eves, nice town. Ride through quite a lot on my bike! Got any new saws?</p>

  15. Having read some of the comments I might hold fire on my Brexit celebratory Boris portrait/Union Jack inking... I have no problem with tattoos and think they're very high quality these days compared to the c*ap of old. My only fear is that many of the 'scene kids' who have them in their teens and twenties now will live to regret their choice of design or extent of the inking when they settle into middle age. Watching 'Tattoo Fixers' and Bodyshockers on TV has proven this theory to be true. Each to their own though.
  16. No problem with colour here Shaves. Despite voting LEAVE..I'm not racist
  17. Exactly. Scaremongering idiots. Shavey. Can you send me some (current) prices for the small Dolmars, suitable for pruning or carving please mate? Get in before the Germans inflict their retribution I say
  18. Hi experts. Fancy trying my hand at this carving lark after a recent burst of inspiration seeing a carved trunk. What do you recommend? Money not an object.
  19.

<p>Went through a shitstorm at work. Don't work there no more. </p>

  20. Can't speak from a pro perspective, but my first 'pro saw' was a Makita. Beats the sheeit out of everything other than my Solo's. Compared to my Stihl MS391 I'd go Makita every time. However the Dolmar appeals because it's got the 'right name' and 'right colour'. Shavey is definitely your first port of call dude. Happy Independance Day!
  21. I haven't bought a chainsaw in ages. I'm waaaaaastin awaaaaayyyyy!
  22. I enjoyed reading that. Well said! What axe did she buy in the end?
  23. Try a wood grenade.. At least if you get shrapnel in your leg again you can say it's from an exploding grenade. Sounds more hardcore.
  24. Fantastic!
