  1. We are in need of an experienced climber to work in the Reigate area. We primarily deal with residential work so the work is varied and relaxed. Our commercial clients don't include street tree contracts so even this work is relaxed, sometimes very relaxed! Relevant NPTC qualifications as well as a clean driving license is required. Salary will be dictated by the applicants abilities. I am more interested in finding the right person who has a passion for the job rather than a 'lightening fast tree hero'. If you think you fit the bill please call Alasdair on 07834414271 or [email protected] Thank you.
  2. He couldn't anyway, since he got it pierced and hangs his Silky off it! Excuse me while I puke! Lol!
  3. It may work well but the CT is easier to use therefore better for an arborist.
  4. I think a translation of Mendips reply might be: 'Just run with Aspen and you shouldn't need to retune. If you have any problems, Steve aka Spudulike can help. All the best Jon'. But it's anyone's guess really! Lol!
  5. Post a photo of what you're using and we can help. Also try to improve your grammar and spelling so that we can understand you correctly.
  6. A VT is not a good hitch with the HH and turning the hitch around degrades the overall performance. Adding another braid makes it even worse.
  7. There are enough trees here, just too many dodgy 'tree surgeons'!
  8. You've got it all wrong Paul. You need to lower your standards to gutter level, plough a few scrubbers to avoid boredom then a semi nice girl will seem like a goddess. Simple!
  9. Arborcut are Redwood.
  10. I wouldn't spend that amount unless the maximum number of steps made in one day whilst wearing them does not exceed 6.
  11. I know what you mean mate. I've 'manufactured' countless items during my life but since about four years ago, I now just buy everything immediately. BTW, I got the Treekit brochure through the post recently. It's so much better and fuller than they're website.
  12. You mean Stihl! Oh no, Groundhog Day. Again! I'm so sad and need to get a life.
  13. Treekit sell Volcano.
  14. They've also got this one now. The Fecon mulching flail. There's s photo in the catalogue and YouTube videos:
  15. They have a proper one now. Only comes with the operator of course. £870 a day.
  16. Look at those boots! No lace hooks low down to get caught on spikes/HAAS/tree!! I'll be trying those next, once I've worn out my Airstreams, Prabos & Clip n Step. Damn it!
  17. Yep, the socket on mine is a lemon shape too. Blimey that's a terrible photo. It looks inside out or back to front and doesn't show what I want it to.
  18. I need a price for a big mulcher in Reigate, Surrey. Not actually in Reigate High Street you understand but quite near the M25. The job will be early next year and will be 3 or 4 days so I need a day rate. I think a tracked machine would be best because some areas of the site are quite wet. However, if your mulcher is on an all wheel drive tractor and you're confident on wet sites then I'm happy. Please PM me or email [email protected] or call Al on 07834 414271. Thank you.
  19. Any Bandit chipper looks good regardless of colour, when it's stood next to another chipper. 'Cos they're better!
  20. Nice kit Dave. Graham will have it on its side by Christmas though! Lol!
  21. Damn it, I forgot to look at the socket on the winder thing. Too busy with work. I'll look tomorrow and let you know, unless I've missed the boat. 😳😳
  22. A black chipper is faster and better and stronger and will make you stronger and better and faster.
  23. Hi Al I couldn't create enough superlatives that would do you justice as it was an experience beyond measure!! 😂😂😂 Love Al.
  24. Tom was working for me in his role as a freelance climber last week. Not exactly a hectic job but he certainly showed that he's competent and productive. Really nice guy to spend a work day with, thanks for the help Tom (aka Quattrokev).
