  1. Has a cover fallen off the top of my 2510? I don't remember it looking like this with exposed wires but I see no fixing points. Perhaps someone can look at theirs to see if t looks the same as this. Thanks.
  2. You having doubts about your new tattoo Jon? Lol!
  3. That's exactly my view too Mike. No problem with it myself and I have none. I think tattoos on the face is a step too far, by any reckoning. It appears to be a by-product of our social condition to judge others around us. I think we usually judge and discriminate towards what we don't understand, or feel threatened by. However, increasing mixed racial and cultural interactions around the world are helping to break down those barriers and the improved social acceptability of tattoos is proof of that.
  4. I think they all need to have their own specific names to avoid confusion. Call it what you like when you're on the ground having a team chat but in the training and legal environment there must be accuracy to avoid grey areas. IMO.
  5. Blimey! I can't be arsed to time each cut but there doesn't look to be much difference between the two saws.
  6. Hahaha! That's what we're all worried about!
  7. Always! I haven't slept since 2008 when my first child was born! Lol!
  8. Many on here will interested in how the 280 performs. How does it sit between the Tiny and the Echo360 / MS201
  9. Just so that you know what the rest of the climbing community is talking about, the most commonly used know is a running bowline, not a bolan. Also, you ask if your last sentence makes sense. Actually it makes no grammatical sense at all. I'm not criticising, just suggesting that you read your writing before posting.
  10. He did buy the wrong saws. Should have bought Echo!
  11. Presumable you're climbing in them Ben. Are they good or a bit clumpy? Thanks Al.
  12. Sounds like the lorry doesn't officially exist Al. Therefore if it is tax & testing exempt, fuel will be free too! Winner!
  13. I still can't find the link to this survey.
  14. Where is this survey? I must be missing something.
  15. What on earth?! Have you sprayed your helmet with something?
  16. IME experience, no tyres last well on an Arb Transit. Overloaded for half the journeys. Towing for all the journeys. Driven too fast if driven by employees!
  17. 😂😂😂😂🍻
  18. Because of the risk of a fire I haven't been using my 2510 today for repollarding a Eucalyptus or cutting the side back on a big Privet hedge, however, I have noticed during the last week (when I haven't been using it) that fatigue levels are vastly reduced. I haven't experimented, because I haven't been using it, and found that I use more effort working with a sharp Silky than I do with the 2510. Unexpected but true. So please Echo, hurry up with the 2511 as it will truly be the best saw in the world because the 2510 is already. Even though I'm not using it any more.
  19. Actually that's a very good point. I hadn't looked at the specs of the 280. I can see that it's a light weight option compared to the 360 but with the 2510 now in the product range, the 280 is a nonsense saw. I would also take a 360 as an interim saw then buy it when my 2511 comes through. I had a 350 a few years ago and thought it was a great saw.
  20. Yep. Buy as much as possible then spend so much time dithering about which gadgets to use that your employee will put his harness on and do the job for you! Brilliant.
  21. Brilliant!
  22. I've chosen to do the same.
  23. One other modification for the 2511 MUST be to use 'normal' screws for the carb adjusters.
  24. Shame on you! 😂😂
