Based on my own wee 026 plus numerous FS200 and FS250 Stihl strimmers at work. run in and run on red Stihl oil punctiliously mixed at 1:50 none of them have ever missed a beat or even need a plug, that I am aware of. compared to generally negative exp with other brands and other oils. The other cheaper 2 stroke oils were definately not as good, though in fairness probably mixed too stiff before I:blushing: realized Council staff could be so dreagh.

So I asked a couple of joiners why I should not "Gripfill" the cheaper solid oak wooden floor down. No valid reasons being forthcoming I duly did. I me mysel that is. The 5.2 tonne Iveco is a good truck, reasonable payload on a tipper plus still got 3050kg for a trailer/chipper. Some parts are shocking dear compared to Merc though. We appear to be standardising on Merc chassis at work, i.e. moving away from largely Iveco.

I bough an Etesia Bahia, due to misuse and consequent damage it became unpopular, I liked it though if it was used for the type of grass it was designed to cut. We also run 355 John Deeres, with metre wide rear discharge/mulching decks. Small enough to be practical, as tough as old boots despite sounding like a bag of bottles. A fabulous finish from the two blade timing belt driven deck BUT the timing belts are the expensive weak link, very easily stripped and bloody expensive to replace. I however cannot find a more suitable mower for our particular requirments, so despite them being an obsolete model I intend to continue running until a replacment is found. I also bought probably one of the first FD1500 Grillo mowers in the Province, they have evolved considerably since then it appears.
