  1. let me no how much you want and i'll see if i can shift it for you...
  2. why would we not charge....???? a transit load of wood chip comes to around £6 when sold to stobarts... trucks have to drive down a private road past 5 nosey neighbours, through farm yard then up back to chip pile.... why would we let someone do that for nothing... if someones doing tree work and has a load wood chip and cant afford £30 to tip it then they shouldn't be doing the job... it costs me £105+vat to tip a 6yard skip at transfer station which would be same size as a high sided transit... what we are doing is illegal at the end of the day.... the only woodchip you are allowed to store is that that is chipped from your own trees on your own land or to store for compost to put on the land [which is a waste of time]... you cannot tip woodchip then resell it unless you have a waste transfer station..... if i could tip all my woodchip somewhere local for free i would as 6-£8 a ton for biomass is not worth the hassle of storing and loading...
  3. it'll only be club shoots that specify felt wad.... have never come across a cpsa registered shoot thats fibres only.... think they no half the shooters wouldnt turn up if they couldnt shoot plastic...
  4. central boiler from america is what we're installing to heat 2 4 bedroom houses and 2 2/3 bed houses.. the guy selling them local to us already has 2 installed himself.. oneat his old farm house and another at his brickworks where he has it installed to dry bricks in his drying shed... it also heats his offices and runs 24 hours a day 6 days a week... he burns around 2.5 tons of sweet chestnut cord cut to 900mm lengths a week.. and lot less at his house... he'd be more than willing to show you round and explain the incentives the government are offering...
  5. you not bought any for a while mate.....??? ordered 5000litres on friday.. best price i could get from 3 diff supplierswas 72.3 a litre.... getting ridiculous now... i'm using at least 400l a day whilst ploughing...
  6. completly wrote off a nearly new ms660 and a ms441 few yrs back when i had a 7.5 ton grab lorry... picked up a big beech but with the crane and as i slewed it round fell out the grab..... it happens.....
  7. i was gonna say between 3-£500...
  8. hi there... can do you full artic load part seasones birch/alder/oak for £1450
  9. my lorry holds between 25 and 27 m3 and i get 50m3 split logs from that..
  10. where abouts in cambridge.... i have a predator on tracks that will go through a standard gate or house doorway...
  11. dont think its the same.....in my experience ash can be 25% whereas beech would be 35-40% [both green]
  12. i could do you a load like that for £1350 depending where you are...
  13. hello mate... where abouts in hertfordshire???
  14. we have several tip a transit size and they pay £30...
  15. i pay £200 for a 40 yard bin level full.. i drop the bin and they load with a 360.. wood is from railway line clearance.... all 12inch to 2ft diameter which is what i like as get lot more logs from bigger bits but plays havoc with chains on saws lot soil etc mixed in when loaded with bucket rather than a swivel grab [which they have but to bloody lazzy to change it over]
  16. sorry..... forget all my above posts.... im getting confused with a tansport manager... restricted o license doesnt need a transport manager.... every hgv driver needs a dcpc before 2014
  17. exactly what i was told by vosa and the guy we payed to sort o license out...
  18. its over a year old that post... whereabouts in hereford are you.. i may be able to help...
  19. not what i was told recently when recieving our o license.... anyone who works for us can drive our lorry as long as its within the restriction of our o license...
  20. i disagree... i.ve always found i get around 35 1.5cm3 loads from an artic load [26tons] green beech... and that load isnt full... i took full load seasoned birch/alder/oak to guy on here few weeks ago and he's half way through for 25cm3 at moment...
  21. work at george michaels house[ or one of them] alot in goring in berkshire...
  22. no cpc required on a restricted o license.... or for anyone who drives it under your employ... only need one when its not restricted and your lorry is for hire or rewaed
  23. delivered in 26 ton [hornbeam] or full artic tailer loads [part seasoned].. hardwood cord always available..
  24. nice video..i have same machine.... cant beat em for a big stump....
