  1. no way on sycamore this might not be very popular but it was the second most valuable tree i ever felled (2001) £18.50 per hoppus foot roadside happy days:biggrin:
  2. you can try english woodlands at cocking nr midhurst for the sawlog
  3. bring back yts 2years block release at dartington college devon,first year appox 13 weeks at college,rest on placement,second year appox 16 weeks at college and rest on placement

  11. reading all the posts started me thinking of my dog(jasper collie x spaniel) which passed on nearly 3 years ago a great loss.

  14. IMO you should cut a extraction rack 1in5,1in6 or 1in7 make the job a lot more easy and profitable(if 1ST thinnings can be profitable) then go back later on 3-5years and selective thin the remainder

  16. not normally done on weight down here, meterage 60/40 thinnings and small roundwood, 50/50 on clearfell tops:001_smile:
