    Its NPTc's nest egg when they need to they'll push the HSE to allow one handed use but only after a 1 week course at the cost of ?. If they can prove through evidence like this thread that it goes on and their only option is to allow its use then everbody with the tickets now will be going back to college.

    Hi all just wondered if a person can take the chainsaw and climbing assesments on site without being enroled on a course? If so are there any members on here that can provide this service?

    I have always used a top handle with either 1 or 2 hands but after reading post I am now becoming aware that the danger of being cut by the saw isnt the problem its the wear that it puts on your fists wrists and shoulders both holding the saw and holding the limbs

    I get what your saying I think the same when I hear people talking money family work load health accounts law ect. I have had questions that I would like to ask advice on, and have wonderd if it would be possible to post a TOPIC anonymously do you think the idea should be put to the Mods ?

    Well Ad15 ! If they read this as a members of the public then the penny might drop and they might decide to pay for things instead of stealing them. The problem with criminals is that the punishment doesnt match the crime, If I have to spend years swinging from my hips taking my chances fighting gravity, and pitting my wits against all that Mother nature can throw at me to purchase and maintain machines to earn money and put food on the table, only to have them stolen, then an electric fence or fishing hook is a small price for them to pay for the misery and frustration that they force upon others. ( Brandy induced rant over ) What was the question ?

    Down here you have to apply for a licence to put a skip on the road. Id just get a slip off of the traffic wardens. and crack on.

    I'd go to where the wardens are based and they will give you an exemption slip to park on double yellows

    Drive a lenghth of timber into the ground as far as you can, cut the top off so it just looks like a cut ring then tack some fishing hooks around the side with the barb pointing down

    Another thing Rob, The last job I did like that was a dead Elm that took a dive into a moat. It was a proper pig and we all got coverd in the grease and human waste that passed through the overflow on their clargester (sewage treatment tank). We ended up doing the job and calling it a day at 12 so we could all go home for a shower and clean cloths. wear a pair or marigolds under your normal gloves ( Rat wee isnt any good for you) and you can bet their all over the place if he feeds the ducks Take a few pic and post if you get the job

    Hi Rob! You would'nt get me wadding in water with a chainsaw running its not worth the chance of slipping or dropping the saw ect. cut it free and drag it out then cut it up on dry land you'll have more luck seeing the nails that he's used to hang the bird boxes on . I'd be glad it didnt fall over with a climber attatched what a way to die
