  1. Depends on quantity here my number if you want to discuss 07964947272
  2. Had what your describing Stubby had scratched my eye ball not nice. The day after I was really struggling it wS bright and windy working on a colum and beam building fixing beams long way up. Told the gaffer I could not see to walk the steel to get chains off. After a few hours it became un bearable jumped in a picker to come down and ended up landing the basket on the gaffers super duper laser level argument insued and it didn't end well for him he picked his van keys up from the local A&E with me getting the train home . It's one of those conditions unless you have suffered it you don't realise how bad it is. Hope it's better soon
  3. Can supply cube crates pre cut hornbeam - 20% mc
  4. Do you want cord or pre cut as we can supply hornbeam sub 20 % in cubic crates to Darlington you would need to fill an artic to make it worth while
  5. Never really worried about it to much as long as the top is covered it doesn't matter. If you take two vented bags and fill them withe the same species leave one outside withe top covered and the other in the barn the one outside is always drier. We make sure our wood goes in the barn 3 weeks before sale just to get the slight damp out of the logs on the side where the rains ingress
  6. We have the ones with gaps in and get heavy duty Dpm and tec scre it with a large washer round the out side to keep the rain out the top.
  7. If 8 potato boxes stacked up really floats your boat pm me your email address and I'll send you the pic of empty boxes stacked 8 high I'll even put 9 on one stack if you want me to
  8. You guys really don't read posts very well do you I said to get 8 high I would have to start 3 and put them on the 5 (for the ones at the back 3+5 make 8) Now take a matbro it will lift two tone how much does a box weigh with 1.8 cube in and that's a shaken box( for the ones at the back you get more logs in a shaken box). Bingo you can't . So unless I go oohhhh about 500 m down the road and borrow the counter balance of the spud farm I'm going to be stacking 6 high .
  9. I'll be round to collect your mog tomorrow
  10. Local farmer the ones I'm buying are good for £20 you can buy 09 onwards which are perfect. As I'm limited on space the only way I'm going to get 1000 + ton in my yard is reach for the sky's. The only thing I didn't think about was once I get 5 high I have to stack 3 on top of one another then put them on the 5. Poor old matbro does not like it at all. Been rear wheel steer it's hard to place the boxes when rear wheels are off the ground.
  11. No it was because man could not comprehend or understand the alternative
  12. Location location location You beet me to it:001_smile:
  13. Any pics of the folding stilleges cost I'm interested as you can get a lot more on a lorry cutting the cost of transport down hugely.
  14. Our IBC containers have had a hard life getting tippers over we were using a bale squeeze to move them when we dint have a tele and they are still really strong and usable now
  15. Ty I'd get those welds ground down and redone there an accident waiting to happen I assume you pile the chip on lot of stress on said welds. I'm really not been funny but would hate to see you have an accident spent 10 years working on steel and 2 years as a snagger ( still can't weld well) I've seen weld fail due to poor welding instantly.
  16. My experience with Aviva has been faultless they signed up to this charter that was rolled ( like a best practice ) out . A women cut through a petrol forecourt a nd crashed into me pulling off from the pump. A courtesy 4x4 was supplied in 24 hours and my truck returned in 10 days and they had even sorted the dent in tailgate. They payed me two days loss of earnings and was kept informed every step of the way. LV are the other ones that have really been very good ( again they signed up to the charter) my partners car was written off last year and was a mint example with very low mileage insured above book value they accessed it and paid out more than it was insured for. That's what grates when people say all insurance company's are robbers we have never had a bad dealing with any.
  17. We have a lot of couriers deliver my sons stock if it comes and it's damaged it goes back. No ifs no buts . This was happening all the time with yodel and the drivers a lunatic nearly killed me the other week overtaking on blind bend. Guess who turned up with a parcel yesterday damaged. After taking a Very very close look at the damage to my truck he decided it would be in his best interest to sort it. We found parcel force are the best
  18. My old yards in the hands of a planning consultant at the moment and if planning is granted I've a guy willing to pay 20 times it's value as agricultural land. Highways agency are the ones that throw a spanner in the works when it comes to planning. 37 acre field sold last year at 442k it was prime land and two guys really wanted it so the bidding was intense
  19. 1am 1000 litre ibc container holds 1.04 cube look up what volume a 1000 litres has. If you sell by the loose load and you want 1.2 volume either give them a good shake or stack the top 6 inches . Ben were using potato boxes for the first time this year got some 06 ones for £12 each. Bang 3 of um by the taj and with the 12 way 20 mins there full and you can stack um 8 high.
  20. Why use an impact wrench on a saw
  21. Excervator what did you give for your log deck
  22. Ye I no how you feel the billets were going to pay for a 360log deck
  23. How many sessions have had and was the guy doing it very experienced. I know a lot of people that have seen other practitioners and been disappointed then seen the guy I use and been blown away by it. I had a very intense session yesterday and feel ontop of the world really motivated but relaxed with it. Really looking forward to my next treatment.
  24. Send some down I've still got a line of billets 6ft high 150ft long and 140 cube in logs sales have been steady but it's been that warm here today that the season could be over
