  1. If your doing firewood get the 362 as your not looking for massive cutting speed like chasing cuts through when felling. You want a saw you can pull out the truck start use forget 560 is not that saw IMO I'm not knocking um just not suitable for your application. We returned our 560 early model and replaced with 362 then added another 362 only problem I've had with either have been my own fault rear handles don't like having cord dropped on them(twice) I can see sense in rovers post above
  2. The nights thing settles down after a few weeks. Was it an organised birth or last minute dash.
  3. We bought the cheeper dfs mattress no end of trouble in the end we got a full refund+ Some on top. We have a tempur now (me mars old one) but it's ain't half a heat trap but you do struggle to get out of it so it's got to be good.
  4. One here one on way. The day my son came into this world was the best day of my life. Good luck
  5. Jon were like any society there's going to be ups and downs got have good times and bad who wants to live in a false utopia where people can't express there feelings. I would rather be seen as a straight talker than come across as false. I do agree with stubby though
  6. Not wanting to hold court over imported kiln dried firewood but 90% of what I've seen is not kiln dried its air dryed cut thin and small. I like the idea of crates but not full of imported firewood.
  7. Had 3 picks 2 bust Stihl got the long one left. Ice axe is the perfect tool for dragging timber round slips on your belt and nice grippy handle. Funnily enough it gives traveller types looking for scrap the right message aswel
  8. Looking at the rear dif out of my Isuzu I'm inclined to disagree
  9. Are those the ones supplied by bag supplies?????
  10. We can supply uk grown crates Air dried to-18% pm if intrested
  11. IMO more hassle than it's worth unless doing road side takes longer to drive mower than loa and unload
  12. Depends on quantity here my number if you want to discuss 07964947272
  13. Had what your describing Stubby had scratched my eye ball not nice. The day after I was really struggling it wS bright and windy working on a colum and beam building fixing beams long way up. Told the gaffer I could not see to walk the steel to get chains off. After a few hours it became un bearable jumped in a picker to come down and ended up landing the basket on the gaffers super duper laser level argument insued and it didn't end well for him he picked his van keys up from the local A&E with me getting the train home . It's one of those conditions unless you have suffered it you don't realise how bad it is. Hope it's better soon
  14. Can supply cube crates pre cut hornbeam - 20% mc
  15. Do you want cord or pre cut as we can supply hornbeam sub 20 % in cubic crates to Darlington you would need to fill an artic to make it worth while
  16. Never really worried about it to much as long as the top is covered it doesn't matter. If you take two vented bags and fill them withe the same species leave one outside withe top covered and the other in the barn the one outside is always drier. We make sure our wood goes in the barn 3 weeks before sale just to get the slight damp out of the logs on the side where the rains ingress
  17. We have the ones with gaps in and get heavy duty Dpm and tec scre it with a large washer round the out side to keep the rain out the top.
  18. If 8 potato boxes stacked up really floats your boat pm me your email address and I'll send you the pic of empty boxes stacked 8 high I'll even put 9 on one stack if you want me to
  19. You guys really don't read posts very well do you I said to get 8 high I would have to start 3 and put them on the 5 (for the ones at the back 3+5 make 8) Now take a matbro it will lift two tone how much does a box weigh with 1.8 cube in and that's a shaken box( for the ones at the back you get more logs in a shaken box). Bingo you can't . So unless I go oohhhh about 500 m down the road and borrow the counter balance of the spud farm I'm going to be stacking 6 high .
  20. I'll be round to collect your mog tomorrow
  21. Local farmer the ones I'm buying are good for £20 you can buy 09 onwards which are perfect. As I'm limited on space the only way I'm going to get 1000 + ton in my yard is reach for the sky's. The only thing I didn't think about was once I get 5 high I have to stack 3 on top of one another then put them on the 5. Poor old matbro does not like it at all. Been rear wheel steer it's hard to place the boxes when rear wheels are off the ground.
  22. No it was because man could not comprehend or understand the alternative
  23. Location location location You beet me to it:001_smile:
