  1. Husqvarna want to investigate "the alledged failure"; the battery FELL out of the saw from a considerable height.
  2. Unfortunately not getting the same response from Husqvarna. They want to uplift the battery/charger etc but will not give replacement. Not much use as we use equip most days.
  3. I also have made several fixed drum devices which we still use, and used a yacht halyard wincn on 1, not so successful.
  4. I am after 1 of these winchs if anyone knows of one for sale.
  5. I reported it via my local dealer and enquired about replacement casing but no help from Husqvarna. Another problem we are experiencing is with the charger now taking 5 or 6 attempts before charging begins.
  6. Has happened to us twice now, 1st time about 60ft broke outer casing but still useable, 2nd from 20ft soft landing no damage. certainly is an issue.
  7. Will get some pics when position has been finalised.
  8. I too have been looking for a carving set up for the 435 but no luck. If you come across any, please let me know.
  9. Hi Kim, these are commissioned pressies for others but yes my familys gardens are just about full.
  10. Jimmy, its great to see it up and working again, only wish I'd had time to do it.
  11. Good attempt. It is the your interpretation of the subject that keeps it original. Keep carving.
  12. I thought mine were great for climbing as they are a slim style with none aggressive sole.
  13. A pic of RW/VT/hitch climber. I attach a bungee tool strop from centre back of harness over shoulder and attach to centre hole on HC to automatically advance VT, and pantin on foot. Have never tried the HH.
  14. I'm also an old git who likes climbing and have been using srt/rw/vt for few years now. Certainly much quicker ascents. Well worth trying.
