  1. There people on here get to say more than others.
  2. The whole them and us attitude you take as far as travellers, the country is coming down with chancers from all over the world, but it seems to me that when the opportunity arises about the travelling community, there a group on here that always jumps on the bandwagon. As I said before if they where black would you feel you could talk the way you do on a public forum about them? I think not, but because they are who they are it's a free for all.
  3. At least someone has a bit of sense, I see posts including my own getting deleted and edited for what I see as nothing personal nor offensive. Yet again it is kick the traveller time on arbtalk, the little Englander attitude is rife. Take a look round about you's, you have more to complain about about than travellers but you's seem to be blind to that.
  4. Or another way to look at it is does the officer think there stolen. Can you account for them did you buy them all new?
  5. I'am no lover of the police or authority but there is nothing illegal about searching any car, and as grounds of doing it, well they just make those up. I got stopped once with a van full of tools and they found a sliding hammer so they ask what I used it for so I told them. They were not happy with my answer so they confiscated it. I followed them to the station where I asked to speak to the desk Sargent and explained what had just happened. I also explained that the local ford repair shop had sliding hammers does that make them car thiefs. A went there and then and gave me it back, I have no criminal record and they had no reason to believe that I was equipped for theft other than owning a sliding hammer. Those police that took those saws are frankly clowns, and anyone could have a boot full of chainsaws there's no law against it. I don't know where abouts this happened but it is obvious they have not got much to do or worry them.
  6. Town and country the only seat cover worth buying IMO, water proof last a life time am still on the same set 4 years on and wash them and back to looking like new. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  7. Wee Johnny comes home from school and his dad says sit down son I have something to tell you. It's about the birds and the bees! Wee Johnny says no dad not more of this stuff. 1st you tell me there's no tooth fairy, then you tell me there's no Santa. Now your going to tell me adults don't f**k, if that's case I have nothing to live for. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  8. Yes they WHERE compared to modern vans there not IMO
  9. Good clear shots those, can see he knows how to take a photo, and on your part nice work to.
  10. Had a Rascal when I was 17 oh how I loved when you put it into a corner hard lifted the back wheel. But not as good a fun flying down the road banging the brakes on and off and on again quickly and lifting the two back wheels 2 ft in the air. Those where the days taking the girls a run in the sooty bus.
  11. I had a Combo with the Isuzu engine great engine yes but as for a nice drive no. There old hat now, you would be wanting something a bit fresher than an old clapped out Combo surely. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  12. A VW Caddy, Ford Connect best two I would say or a Partner-Berlingo all good in there own way. There good on juice and you can get moon miles out of the engines with regular oil and filter changes. Or as said the Astra van ain't bad there isn't many bad small vans now a days IMO there just a car variant.
  13. Tidy wee job that, could have been a bit higher but the fact that you used only want you had over rules that, good job.
  14. Anything that has tread on them and doesn't cost over £120 a piece. I think some people buy there tyres more for a fashion statement than the do the use of them.
  15. I like a a mix 75% soft 25% hard small bit of coal, cracking fire, well seasoned soft wood is fine. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  16. Should have got a pic of the three monkeys there very impressive. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  17. Worked with a man all week who has a brand year old one and he loves it. There nice finished and they look the ticket. I have a a few shoguns and I like the Mitsubishi's, there as good as as anything else IMO. And as for the recurring statement about soft clutches well I have never had any problems. A bad driver can soon wreak a good clutch. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  18. If the weather is like last year you won't be long going through it.

It all depends how fussy you are on what you burn.

A total company on the oranmore drive of the blacks road is selling those ton builder bags of mixed but mostly soft wood for £35 it £40 but £5 is a deposit for the bag.

It's does fine for a wood burning stove, are you cutting yourself or are you buying of boys or what?

  19. You will be fine, just take your time and think before you do anything it's not a race.
  20. Nope sorry buddy not a bit left but I will keep you in mind.

  21. It would have to be a 2100 to be talking any money like that surely. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  22. Very neat and tidy. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  23. Ring the man and he will tell you what the rate is.
  24. You say that but i read these firewood threads and think the same thing all the time. What sell's for x in one place might only sell for y in another. There is micro economy's all over the country. As for the wood i was saying about, people buy it and sell it on for £50 and the seller knows that, he doesn't seem to mind so everybody's happy.
  25. These questions get asked all the time and i think you will get a few different answers. For employer and insurance yes but that would only ever be a problem if the hurt someone and there was a claim. Well that's my view anyway am sure the country is full of men doing things without the appropriate tickets, it's ok's until it all goes wrong i suppose.
