  2. I was keen to go shark diving with great whites but it's the wrong season. . you can do it off Gisborne pal -http://www.surfit.co.nz/page5903750.aspx. Boyd is great -passionate about fish and conservation, would reccommend him anyday. Enjoy the U.S trip sounds a cracker!

  4. As above pal -your forecasts are very much appreciated, keep up the good work!!!
  5. I quoted 70 quid for a very similar job to this one -never heard anything from them! no doubt someone will have done it for far less but these types are not around for long, as has been said low prices do not factor in any repair/replacement costs. Hopefully the woeful summer will have got rid of a few more jokers!
  6. i had one pinned which wouldn't heal -was in pot for 3 months and took about 6 to get back to full fitness.i still don't have full confidence in it now really -reckon the hospital made an arse of it! hope yours is much more straightforward.
  7. Sadly I think there has been at least one thread here on AT in the not too distant past where at least one local authority somewhere in the UK was doing just that, and had started tendering for work in the private sector. Yep thats Burnley council. plus its not the council that owns the trees its the taxpayer surely. Also true that selling them is better than paying to have then removed which generates money rather than costing and is also more eco friendly than tipping. My bugbear is that they are not competing on a level playing field as Mendiplogs has pointed out earlier. Rant over now back to the closing ceremony!!!!
  8. Park lane plants in Burnley
  9. Same thinking as me Justin, complete wind up!
  10. The list is endless so don't try and do too much. Go through Rotorua, Tongariro crossing. Get the ferry and head up to Nelson for the Abel Tasmen park then to the lakes, Heli hike Fox glacier then hit Queenstown area where you could spend a month in that area itself!!! Don't try and do too much -you can't see everything and you can always return. We did 5 months in a motorhome and still didn't get everywhere. Pick up a little camper and have a blast -you will love it!!!!! PM me if you need any info on owt!
  11. Cheers for that any recommendations?

  21. Hi guys and cheers for all the advice. I went for the Etesia Pro 46 and its seems a belter on first impressions. Light, handles well and the grassbox holds a lot more than you would think, plus the full indicator also saves time. See how it handles the Lancashire 'summer'!!!!!! Cheers again arbtalkers.
  22. Victas were great machines -used them for years on the council till they swapped for John Deere. I have one now but finding spares is a nightmare.
  23. i have a honda roller mower which i use for the more "prestige" lawns trouble is for the other lawns i need to be able to carry and lift up steps and over small walls -the honda is quite heavy -too heavy for a skinny get like me to heave about. Heard good things about Etesia -especially picking up in the wet.
