  3. Hi all i was just wondering who used chainsaw grinders and if so which ones? I myself use an oregon grinder which cost about £300.. Seems to do a good job. Whats everyone else think??

  6. Garden, Thank you very much for your help advice and assistance. If i had seen your reply earlier you could have ordered me a kit too! Oh well never mind i will try and find a source near me. I will search the web later for ultrasonic cleaner fluid recepies. Still reeling from a seized crank bearing on an atlas copco TT breaker yesterday. Only big end bearing is shot but since its all one unit ( like a TS400) i am looking at a whopping £414 plus vat!! I Think i shall go and purchase breakfast to distract my Thoughts! Cheers again Tony

  17. As i understand it cellox dressings are issued to the british army in afghanistan for wound closure. Accepting that there may be some validity in that it makes things more tricky for A&E surely the choice to use it, and put it in their own first aid kit, rests with the chainsaw user. Personally i would rather have one inn our kit and know when someone, hopefully never, needs to go for the kit its there ready to use. Maybe there is a market for a small pouch with either a dresing or cellox granules in it that couls be carried personally. I myself would rather the "First aider" administered what was considered the best solution to my difficulty. Maybe others will differ!

  20. Ty, I had a navarra and if you unclipped the side support bars the tailgate would fold right down. It was a bit fiddly at first but possible. Try that! Tony
