  12. TW finance was crap to be honest - i went through JCB finance.... supurb!!!! But totally respect your stance on with regards to self dicipline. Steve's chipper looks like it could serve you well
  13. consider putting down a deposit and taking out finance on a new machine. I did this, got a brand spanker which gave me piece of mind about its integrity (and warranty)... and for £213 a month (which believe me is nothing compared to what you save by having it) and i own it at the end! Made perfect sense to me.... consider it for yourself mate, as the initial deposit may be a lot less than your looking to spend up fro a 2nd hand machine!
  14. Congrats Mark - great work mate!! Best of luck to you and all your family!!

  16. Fair enough, ive found it takes a while to dry beech out to a suitable m/c.... but perhaps given that my woodstack is only covered by a tarp, i imagine that could be the reason why!!

  21. If you had said it canes the juice i might have been concerned!! I'm guessing busting rock hard stumps out takes some doing so you have to expect constant tooth maintenance and a fair amount of fuel too!! All part of the job i supose
  22. I've already got slipped tendons on the palms of my hands... not sure what the medical term for it is?!! All i know is, they really give me jip and aparently the problem only gets worse! I'm actually quite concerned...might take your lead and see a quack about them
  23. Do most fully hydraulic medium large stumpers run on diesel (cherry obviously)? The rg25 runs on petrol and having not used one before i have no clue about fuel consuption! - something to consider given the bloody rip off at the pumps!
  24. Now that Nick is exactly what happened to me 3 weeks ago.... my response.... that will be £150 extra (initial job £380).... their answer..... actually it looks fine like that!!!!!!
