  4. f1, the odd footy match, test match highlights, and occasionally the news. Thats it for me im affraid, although i have to endure listening to the utter tosh that is saturday night 'entertainment' in the background. Im steadily turning into a grumpy old man before my time!!

  7. Had an awesome time at the show, few cold ciders, good company with my old man and my cousin will. Introduced myself finally to Steve bullman at the arbtalk tent, and bumped into ranger Matt and my old mate Paul Bannister (silky fox). Didn't realise who was with them but I guessed afterwards they could be arb talkers!!!! Been dreaming all night about unimogs and tracked MEWP's!!!! Shame we've got to wait two years for the next show now.

    9/11

I came in to college and told the lecturer to turn the tv on because planes were flying into skyscrapers in New York only to be told to shut up and sit down!! I protested and the class sat and watched the coverage in silence for the rest of the afternoon. Such a sad, crazy, unfortgetable moment in history.

  19. I had a very aggressive Irishman forcefully trying to sell me a 'new chainsaw' whilst out on site last week in North Somerset - as you can imagine, he was reluctant to discuss serial numbers!!
