  1. Pretty good lightning display last night moving in from the west. Some strong cool winds and a drop of rain came with it but back to hot and sunny this morning. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  2. Great win for England. Glad we wrapped it up in the final over. Done in four days, a good old thrashing for the Aussies!!!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  3. Such a satisfying feeling watching the Aussies get ground into the dirt. Long may it continue!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  4. 128 all out. You beauty!! 5 fer for swanny!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  5. Boom - Clarke gone lbw to broad!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  6. And another one gone!! Five down now for Clarke to really set the cat amongst the pigeons!!!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  7. Thought they would wrap up our tail Enders but didn't think swanny and broad would give it such a good Tonk! Great start with the ball and as I type they are four down!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  8. Hot, and my mood is sour given the 1000's (yes thousands of midge bites all over my body) triple dose of antihistamine and witch hazel slapped everywhere has done nothing to ease the allergic reaction and discomfort!! Hot, itchy sleepless nights are becoming very tedious. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  9. Oh yeah I forgot the horseflies. Massive hot bite on the back of my leg. Fun!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  10. Mozzies and the aussies taking 7 wickets ruined my day! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  11. After the bell/bairstow fight back England have got to be disappointed with that effort on a decent pitch in glorious batting conditions. Hopefully the tail will wag tomorrow but I fear with the second new ball, the Australian bowlers will wrap up our first innings within an hour. Still, we will get a better idea of how the game will pan out after both teams have batted. Bring on mr J. Anderson!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  12. The madness continues. Deliberate fires started in hamworthy last night too. Could see them burning from the harbour whilst out kayaking. Silly season is well and truly upon us http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  13. Very true, we were asked to chip a big pile of brash at a local country estate due to the potential fire hazard it posed (tinder dry and plenty of kids about). http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  14. When Upton Heath was torched by youths the year before, the seagulls cleaned up. We have rare Sand lizards and smooth snakes here in Dorset heathlands and these creatures along with all the other wildlife gets destroyed. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  15. Arsonists set alight Canford Heath, Dorset last night. A number of deliberate fires were started. Fire crews tackling the blaze all night. Approx 7 hectares ablaze. What is wrong with people? What thought processes do people have, to think that such a mindless act is a positive action..... It seems to happen every year. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  16. Such a shame - I don't bite......honest!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  17. What an exciting and nerve jangling finish to the test match yesterday. After what had gone before with dodgy decisions, batsmen refusing to walk (broad, Clarke), it just had to be a DRS to decide the game!! I cannot wait for the next test at lords, or the rest of the series for that matter. Bring it on!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  18. *too hot http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  19. To hot Jon, 32 here still. Love sunshine and don't mind being in it all day but I like to be cool in the evening and at night. Currently mopping sweat away but enjoying highlights of the ashes!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  20. What's the net weight now that you've had the body put on chris? Do like your truck, I was looking at them a few months back, but bizarrely the salesman from iveco was trying to put me off!!! The nightmare of licensing was enough to end my enquiry, let alone the cost of the truck (once you put all the toys an extras on it) and running it. Best of luck with it though mate. http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  21. That is a whopper!!! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  22. Silky if I remember rightly you love yew, and especially veterans like this beauty!! What a magnificent tree http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  23. Totally understand your frustration, I was getting frustrated on your behalf reading the various opinions posted! Yes it's a shame that an old beaut is possibly going to be felled but like you state, you haven't done anything other than make people aware of the potential timber arising from the tree fell. Don't let it get to you mate. Pete http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  24. Go for it Paul, will be a shame to lose you down south but your heart is in Durham city http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
  25. Looks like its gonna be another scorcher mate! http://www.aatreesurgeon.co.uk
