  1. Next one will be up on the Plains. So should be a good laugh:thumbup: Bit of frost in the chalk and it can get very very slidy up there
  2. Thats cool mate. No worries. Its good stuff and as we were in the area we popped in for some
  3. Had a great day out with a local mate. Did a challenging lane which caught the undersides of the 110 and the Hilux. No damage apart from our exhaust being 4 inches higher than it should be. Was rude not to pop into a local cider museum n get 2 gallons lol The videos are better in 720 HD:thumbup: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WcAy2jxbXs&list=HL1385323505]Tincleton UCR Cross axle - YouTube[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUnsimAQpKk&list=HL1385323505]Tincleton UCR. 4. Decided to do lanes around Dorchester tomorrow as haven't heard from Wilts about the width of the ox drove clearance. And the Dorchester lanes are a good laugh to do but not too taxing.
  5. Last call about people who want to come out tomorrow. At the moment its just our 110 and a friends hilux surf. Ideally need another vehicle maybe two.
  6. Ha ha its there. Just not much of it after the clearance.
  7. Had a great day with Hedgesparrow up at Cranborne. Nice bit of blackthorn to lay but a hell of alot of clearing out of the old stuff. The wasp nest under the Oak tree made it interesting. Did a pair of large blockthorn with the chainsaw which will need a very good sharpen now. Got a good stretch done though and the stew in the Viking long house was very nice.
  8. Bump. Anyone wanna come out out. Don't have to do the ox drove. Can always do the purbecks or North/west dorset.
  9. Drove past this one twice today and both times could see it was moving slowly. So closed the path and watched it come down with a resounding thump. Had the MS362 with a 20 inch bar in the back as just cleared another tree off a local bridleway. The wood was mush in the middle.
  10. We have 10 billhooks. This is 6 of them, 5 Bulldogs and one Ariete Swedish Woodhook.
  11. Bump. Need to know by Saturday evening who is coming on Sunday to give me an idea of the type of vehicles coming and what to cater for.
  12. Another update. Sadly two mates have pulled out due to one of them working the night before. So have room for two more trucks.
  13. Will have to use that one at work ha ha. The sad thing is the bosses will think i have spotted a weak union.
  14. And the Firewood of course. There was tree near me which had the same done last winter. This winter it is on the deck and is filling the homeowners woodstore.
  15. I should be looking after the old folk in the retirement homes then. Got 4 around me lol
  16. Just seen this on Youtube from Sons of Guns. Made me giggle alot [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPxw6OWGspU&list=HL1384721798]Sons of Guns- Blanks Prank - YouTube[/ame]
  17. Had an update today from his family. He has had surgery to rebuild/reshape part of his skull but can move fingers and toes and has good reflex in his knees. He will be brought back to Soton to recover for the forseeable future but it looks like he was a very very lucky lad.
  18. Piece of sharp flint in a covercrop. Last drive of the day which is bloody typical:001_rolleyes:
  19. Floyd enjoying his home comforts when he is wounded.
  20. Just found out 6 close local friends of mine were involved in a horrific crash this morning. One of which is fighting for his life in Soton general in a drug induced coma. He was the lad in the Renault 5 which collected another friends Corsa heading back toward Blandford. Dad and i were on a shoot about 5 miles away but could hear sirens left and right. From the high point on the shoot we could see the blue lights in the distance and saw the Air ambulance take off. Praying that the 17 year old makes a full recovery but speaking to his family, the consultant has already mentioned about him being flown to Frenchay for skull rebuilding. UPDATE: 17-year-old airlifted to hospital in "critical" condition after two-car smash (From Bournemouth Echo)
  21. Cracking day at Downhouse. Invited the girlfriend out for a day in the field which she really enjoyed. Guns shot like champs all day. Shot 138 pheasant, 1 partridge, 1 pigeon and a squirrel (it was jumping from tree to tree according to the gun lol). Unfortunately despite Floyd working like a machine all day, he off to the vets on Monday for stitches thanks to a piece of flint.
  22. Had a good week installing stiles, doing the odd bit of tree work and litterpicking. Unfortunately today i was given the task of strimming the trailway top path in Blandford. There is a reason why we mow it....... Piles and piles of dog muck. We have given the stretch the nick name of "Crap Alley/Shite avenue". I hit atleast 20 on the top path today but the final straw was when i hit a big sloppy one in the grass which covered me head to toe. I normally only wear a mesh visor when strimming but will be wearing a mesh visor with goggles now.
  23. Gold Divers, Coal and Fast and Loud. Normally watch Coal when chowing down on a bacon butty in the morning.
  24. Is that going to be your quoting car Chris? Been in a Nismo tuned version of the road going model and needed a new set of undies afterwards.
