Could anyone cast light onto the applications intended for xtc -12-cy rope? looking at yales website it states this rope is ideal as a bull rope with lowering devices? according to the identification tag on our rope it states that it is 13.5mm in diameter and was purchased as a climbing rope. any advice would be appreciated. regards Dave

  19. Hi folks below are some pictures of a mature beech tree on campus, as you can see it is positioned very close to the main college access. I would be intrested to know what the general concensus is regarding its management . There are signs of decay below the main fork union, the tree was also cable braced in the past;this system can now be seen hanging from one of the codominats. There is also evidence of included wood at the bottom of the main branch union. my main concern is that this tree will fail dramatically and suddenly and kill some poor motorist slowing down to pass over the very poorly situated speed ramp? there is however no obvious signs of fungal bodies:thumbup1: regards Dave

  22. I remember being petrified about having root canal work done to save a tooth. I found the anticipation was far worse than the actual work, unfortunately lost the tooth shortly afterwards, but the fear of an extraction was far greater than any pain i felt. I too had gum disease but it was caught in time and now use a rotary brush followed by daily flossing and mouth wash..a balls ache but worth it to keep your teeth.
