Nice I've often thought about giving poetry a go myself, it has a certain appeal, but never bothered. Be interesting to see if anyone else adds to the thread...
  13. Hi all, just got a getac ps236 running windows mobile 6.1. Trouble is until I have saved a little more for all the pear technology software it's pretty much useless! I'd like to have a play about with it, maybe use it instead of my galaxy s2 as a gps for directions. Am I right in thinking google maps wont work on windows mobile? If so what (preferably free) alternatives are there? Thanks in advance. ..
  14. Looks nice (why does it always look tastiest on yew?!), I first found it on yew; on a construction site in east London, if its still there I could find that tree again. Also found it on the usual oak, chestnut, cherry and Willow. Quite common on acacia too I think, but not for me...
  15. Old damage to the trunk and poor rooting environment, honey perhaps...

  19. Yes it burns fine, better off turned though!
  20. Dexter, Northern Exposure, Six Feet Under, Pushing Daisies. All series not films, but good nonetheless.
  21. Thanks for the info
  22. +1 for James England, although I've not decided to buy from him he was very helpful and humoured my complete newbie questions! He certainly knows his stuff. Could also try Pear Technology, very helpful if a bit expensive. ..
  23. This incident has reminded me of the Kew Gardens death last year. Has anyone heard anymore about it? Is an investigation ongoing, what has been said of their management plan/system? When I visited recently I was surprised at the amount of bracing in use, never seen so much! I was pleasantly surprised by how on the whole it's not that visible, even before the leaves are out.
