  1. Sorry, I didn't realise that you have had to explain so many times, but at least the OP has an easier choice now.
  2. When you say Zenoah, are you talking about the engine make? I just googled it and got loads of info on radio control engines. Are they not so good?
  3. Congratulations! They are fantastic saws.
  4. Just found this on the US Husqvarna site, just done a quick currency conversion and they are from £300! Anyone used one or imported a saw before? http://http://www.husqvarna.com/us/products/professional-chainsaws/543-xp/
  5. Or, Bandit need to make it with a longer deflector in the first place:sneaky2:
  6. I can see why you prefer the vemeer, I hire a bandit 70? and it does the same thing as the one in the photo, put the chip everywhere except in the truck!
  7. How do you have the sides fitted to the tub?
  8. Is it like a dog tooth cut? or is it possibly a notch for a felling lever?
  9. Strike that, just found a video on youtube, looks like a lot of time spent forcing the branches through. Perhaps more of a domestic machine?
  10. Thats an interesting looking machine, what are the specs and cost?
  11. The Husky website says £75 rrp. but looking at other items on there, It would appear it will be less in the shops.
  12. Has anyone got one, or know where they are available from. I found this link but not seen them for sale online, Forest helmet, Technical - Chainsaw accessories
  13. Just a bit too far away for me! Gotta love angloinfo.
  14. One of my favourite saws ever! Looks good with the bigger bar imo.
  15. Or, like you just nicked £70ks worth of kit?
  16. Like with books, just look at the pictures? I get what your saying, as I say, just a temp measure. when i get my trailer sorted I will get a matching set of signage for all my vehicles with pictures/photos. I will see if they make an arb colouring book for you Mountain man!
  17. I had some simple vinyl signs made from an online company where you design them yourself. I had previously had a set of lettering from them for my Kangoo, which was a pita to fit, but looked good once done, these signs are not great quality, but for me, will do as a stop gap solution. The Sign Builder - Vehicle Signs - Magnetic Signs - Banners - Stickers - Stands
  18. I think that once you have won the job the client couldn't give a hoot what you wear, the perspective client next door, or passing by the job site could think, " Hmmm, vests, good idea in these hot days of summer" or, they could think " Supprised they used gypsy's to carry out the work" You are a walking, talking advert for your company, and so are your employees, and as a wise man once said........." Appearance is 9/10ths of the law" If my uniforms are high vis, and stand out, drawing the attention of potential clients, or alert a driver to the presence of one of my guys then a little bit of itchy is worth it, grapple some conifer for a few hours in a vest and your itchy anyway:001_rolleyes: You know your clients and your business and far be it from me to preach, but this is how I roll.
  19. These are the ones I got, they are more like a football shirt than the old style "airtex" ones. I hope the detail of the fabric shows on the picture. But if you want to look like Rab C Nesbitt.....................
  20. I don't feel that vests portray a good image, but thats just my opinion. I have hi vis for me and my subbies, sign writen for that extra bit of advertising, and a professional look. It helps when working too imo, as its easier to identify groundies when in a drop zone etc. I got some hi vis polo shirts done and they are very cool to work in, they are a non absorbent type. from Printed Hi Vis Polo Shirt
  21. Thats good to know, I was hoping it would be. If the engine was to fail at some point, could it be replaced with the larger motor?
  22. Did they announce the winner of the last comp for the t540xp?
  23. Hi Guys, I have found a cs 100 chipper for not too bad a price, it is fitted with a 14hp B&S motor which has done about 200 hours. Will it be possible at a later date to upgrade the engine to the larger 18hp? is it the same beast, just a different engine, or is it a unique fitting for this model (arbo 14) Any help much appreciated
  24. Like in you avatar? Only kidding, I agree with what you say there, I dont like my saws swaying about, catching on every branch and twig.
  25. Hi Guys, I have just got a T540xp which came with a 14" bar, and I would prefer it to be on a 12". Can I use the 12" bar and chain from my Stihl ms 192t without modification, Ie; correct spur/nose wheel and oil hole? Cheers guys
