  2. Got the chance to work on 3 large redwoods this weekend. When we measured last year when we did a tree inspection they cam in at 143-148ft high. We are taking 20ft out the tops. There is a house below them and green houses. Should be fun. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  3. Cheers for the advice guys. I think it all started a few years ago when I had a bit of a hard time with life and I found loosing my self in work helped then it just became a habit. The Gf just worries about my health and also would just like to spend some more time together. For example last year ild do tree work 7-4 then jump in a tractor and go silaging till 11-12 at night. And I think I maxed at Something like 112 hours one week. Not doing that at all this year though. I'm going to try freeing up a day for my self and shift the work onto others and go on a day out. Thanks again. Thanks again Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  4. Has any of got and hints to switching off from work. I've been lucky in one way that I've always been busy but the girlfriend is complaining now that its been too many 7 days a week and now it's light in evenings working those to. On the evenings I do have off I end up writing up quotes and putting in applications. Then if there's spare time just before bed I have to look on hear to see what's accruing. I got away last weekend for a wedding and the whole time my brain is just thinking about next's weeks work and what to do when I'm back. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk

  7. Personly im still not sold on the 201, one of my friends runs it and im sure its his fault but even so he has scored the piston, the repair bill compared to a 200 is massive, that said i wouldnt purchase one

  9. I have checked the hose from carb to piston and that is fine. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  10. Constant need of re tuning. Starts fine. Tap the throttle to bring it up to full revs. Idals high. At full revs went sunk into wood drops power. Retune and its fine for half a tank or so. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  11. Time has come to order a new carb. Where is the cheapest place people have found? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  12. Cool. I can't fell the tops out in one as the garden below is on 40ft long by 20ft wide. Both trees need 30 or so feet taking out the height. Not sure if it worth taking a bigger saw or being slightly slower and benefit from the lightness. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  13. Does any one run a 16" bar on there top handle. Ive got some redwood tops to be taking out and was thinking of using a 16 on mine rather than taking a 2 saws up.
  14. Just finishing up my post as finally got round to replacing the proximity sensor on the fly wheel. After having a hot day last week the sensor was playing up every 3-4 mins, went and purchased a new one and straight away problem solved. meaning at last no sitting around waiting for the sensor to cool down.
  15. There is some blue liquid that my mate puts on his dairy cows every year. You leave it to soak in and nothing goes near. It says not for humans but on the times when he hasn't worn gloves and got it on him it worked. So for the past 3 years I've put it on. While my friends at work are attracting the horse flys then just seem to stay away from me. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk

  17. Customer I have over hear. Abit of a friend also. He has a place in Normandy also and soon possible a place in Italy which will be quite cool. Just likes are work pace and also we are just on a day rate get as much done as possible compared to the locals coming in and quoting and ripping him off.
