  2. After the weather forecast predicting high winds and heavy rain we managed to dodge it. Rain on the way to and from the site. 1 hour off during hail and hard rain which was timed with the tea coming out. Hard to believe the canopy went over the house.   4. Allowed for 4 but would like to be out in 3. The home owner doesn't have the biggest garden but he's keeping all the wood. Back next week also to grind out. The weather yesterday was good to us.   7. Came home from a family meal tonight and there is 2ft of water and some trees to drive round. Booked in tomorrow now for a beech that 1 side ripped out landing in the garden.   14. Have got the task to work on this mommouth Beech in January. A lot of rigging required. 2 telephone lines, solo panels on the roof. Bracket 50cm across. All timber is staying on site.   17. Taken down 3 rotten chestnuts this week. Quite a good advertising one Only allows to work for 6 hours a day as the traffic works are only up from 9:30-3:30. Only targets are a new wall and laurel hedging. Service drain along the side of the road. 2 telephone lines and a power line. Crew giving the thumbs up to start.   18. I climb with my phone. I don't answer while climbing. Occasionally will text while waiting for bits to be cleared on the ground. If the call is urgent and it keeps ringing ill answer. As for people who work for me. They can use there phone at lunch. It's very rarely there isn't something to do, on the off chance they isn't make your self not been seen by the customer, but as soon as there is stuff to be done again phone down and back to work.   22. We have a kwikchip 160 which we cannot fault at all. We are looking at getting a larger machine with a wider intake and also a turn table. I have found a 222 without a turbo and was wondering how easy it would be to fit a turbo and would it work?
  23. Thinking of putting my self and one of the guys through the RFS cert in Arb. Either thinking 1 eve a week at collage or doing it online. Both of us have been doing tree work for quite a few years now and we have there is one of us that is qualified in our company as a tree inspector to lend a hand if needed.
