  1. It also is only really on the on the south side of the hedge except for one. But in all cases the other side to the effect part is still green? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  2. Yep. Bored in then just knicked the back and let her go. Didn't want it starting to go and pushing the stem I was on. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  3. If you chase the branches effected back there from 1 trunk. If you scratch the bark with your nail it's still green and alive at the moment. Any leaves below are regularly blown out and collected and there is no sign of and fungus at the base yet. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  4. No BBQ hear either. There is 4 patches spread out over 200m of hedge. But it does look like heat or even as if it had been sprayed. Open to any more suggestions. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  5. At one of my customers they have become concerned with a few brown patches that the leaves have just gone brown and dropped off. The rest of the hedge is still green. There is no fruiting body's around it and I've checked for signs of honey fungus. Any other suggestions? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk

  9. 6 stitches. I must say it didn't hurt at all until it was all stitched back together. They said very lucky to have not hit the tendon. You could see it sitting there. Managed to complete what was set out for the weekend though. Lactex glove duct tape and a glove over and off to work today. Fingers crossed it will survive. 13. There was the slight possibility of honey fungus that popped a fruit body up on the drive but with other trees around it could have been from those. So am I right in thinking once it does die the fact it has a slight lean as well it will more than likely go over? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  14. Been watching this redwood from the place I work. It's on the neighbours property. Every year it's been in more and more decline and now has a slight lean on towards my customers property. The old tree officer said to them it was fine and re spouting but I can say there has been none of that. At its current rate of decline in 3 years there will be nothing left. Will it manage to stay up or after it has died will it start falling appart? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk

  16. Not sure if it has moved and the gap between the sensor and the fly wheel has got smaller but the proximity sensor on are chipper usually when it gets hot starts giving out readings 1000rpm more than it should. This results in the infeed stopping. The gap when I took it off tonight was about 1-2mm. I've increased this to a good 4mm and now when you rock the fly wheel the sensor light flashes. Where as today it seemed to be constantly on. Is it possible with the small gap it was ok when cool but when hot it was getting more sensitive. 17. Trying to decide if I should sell my mk4 golf tdi which is top spec and had remapped to 188hp for a mk4 r32. I really love the sound of the r32 and quite like the idea of having 4wd. The 1 and only thing that is making me think is the mpg. Since getting mine remapped I get 62mpg where as ill be lucky to get 22 with the new one. I use the car daily in the evernings but I have my tipper and 90 for work. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App http://Www.colwoodlandcare.co.uk
  18. Ive had a Kwikchip 160 for just over a year now, i personally like the machine and think as a 6" it is very worthy. It did have issues with the stress box and required a new box and also a new fly wheel sensor but after that it has done us very well. The whole chipping side of it I'm happy with, with a wide hope it doesn't get hung up on forking branches as much as i found with the Timberwolf and also Arboreator . It does seem as if they have saved weight on the chassis though and it has cracked in a few places and required welding, but that said between 2 of us it has been easy to wheel around people gardens .
