  3. If your lighting fires on a regular basis then a parrfin flame gun ( flame gun 2000 i think we used) works wonders just to keep the core temp there till it gets going just try and keep an eye on the wick:thumbup1: used it while doing rhodie clearance for the fc, a flame gun,a blower and a small coke bottle of parrfin right in the center just leave the top off or it goes bang! I seem to remember an old boss of mine telling me that douglas fir burns really well green and is good to use a few branches if there is any about. Any one heard this before

  10. cheers!,sorry i should have been more specfic . I was looking at getting either a 90 or a 110 with a 2.5 na diesel. Its not how it looks with me its more important its solid & runs properly! I have been told that lpg is no good for towing, i guess you could drag pretty much anything with a 3.9 v8 but have you noticed any diffrence towing with lpg or do you just switch to petrol when draging a heavy load? sorry to derail a little bit from the thread. Thanks again!
  11. The saddest thing about it all is that for just a few logs this guy has helped destroy peoples faith in new employees. Im still fairly new to arb and I have been working my jewels to the floor just to prove im worth spending time and money on because people seem to take the mick with employers. All i want to do is work in arb, but with some peoples lack of respect it has made a sometimes difficult job even harder, im not going to run off with all you kit when your not looking, if you kindly offer me a bag of logs then its a bag of logs i will take not a twig more! and in paying for my tickets you have just given me the key to a job i love for life and if your a good team why would i want to risk losing it by pinching. Just dont tar me with the theiving, lazy and im doing you a favour just by turning up thing! The way I see it is he has been given a fantastic oppertunity and stuffed it up by pinching! tell him to buy his own chipper, rent a yard like everyone else and employ someone who is willing do do his job because they love it and not for the perks, god knows there is enough of us out there:001_smile:
  12. I've looking at getting a landy for a while now, whats the mpg like? what are they like for rot? are the hard/expensive to lift yourself? and is there anything i should look out for when buying an old one? cheers guys!
