Yes I will have a look I only do firewood all year round -
We charge pound a mile outside the normal delivery area and that only just covers the cost

had to replace the drive cogs for the infeed belt but that was because we were animals with it when we first got it . we now just run it on tick over rather rev it and see how it can throw the logs

we use a bilke to process the small timber because it takes ages through the processor and you end up with little amount of firewood . The logs arnt brillient but it gets through it very quickly anb when mixed with rest it doest matter

All we do is logs and our lead time at the moment is 7 days and when we are realy busy it can be three weeks, but if they know they are going to to get quailty they wait, some do go esle were but a lot come back because they were not happy with what they got ,or they get let down, people are to wait if you deliver when you say you are going to.

i think you can claim back vat for the last three years on capital purchases eg tractor ,firewood procesor. But if you only sell firewood its at 5% and when you buy in timber its normaly 17.5% so you should always be in a claim back situation
