  1. looks good, what enjun is fitted ?
  2. a common sense answer is posted above. LIKE LIKE LIKE If i'm lone working on a dismantle (i know i shouldn't be alone but....) and need both my top handle saw and a ground saw i simply tie both saws onto my climbing line but attached as far apart from one another as possible. I pull them up and tie off the ground saw tight to the main stem and under a lateral limb to protect it, i proceed with the dismantle and eventually collect the ground saw when it comes time to chog down.
  3. surely this is frowned upon in the Arb community or was ATC Arb justified in their actions to make money ?
  4. stunning !
  5. so how come ATC ARB went along with it, Mega bucks no doubt ?
  6. make sure the middle tube bit isn't sat back/down preventing it from sitting 'squarely' onto the fuel can threads. Also ensure the threads on both are clean and crud free.
  7. Josh there is nothing marginal about those cutting times, 1.5 secs is a big difference in my opinion. That 346xp is the boss.
  8. looks crappy. The cardboard box says it all, 'handle with care'.....
  9. dispatch 'the snitch' in the same manner as the injured deer.
  10. 4 chains in 1 year, thas either bin a very busy saw or you lunch the chains too easily !?
  11. definately cheaper but once ya pay the recovery costs then you can forget about it and not concern yerself with potentially totting up more penalty points and driving yer insurance premium skywards:001_rolleyes:
  12. nail, hit and head spring to mind after reading the above. I have the older model GMR100 and it's very good, as stated you have to re-adjust your chipping method if you've been used to a normal/full sized chipper. the size and quality of the chip is reasonably good imo.
  13. LOL but the 3 points and fine might make you reconsider such a decision:lol:
  14. washing machine every time for me, i do not use a pillow case or draw string net bag as it localises too much weight into one area and causes the washing machine to jump around the kitchen ! I simply coil my rope (loosely) and place it into the machine and wash with non bio at 40 degrees and spin it out at 1,600 rpm and it comes out nearly dry.
  15. gotta agree with Aspenarb on this. It's tough enuf being self employed but tough for people that use self employed cutters/climbers too. I hate turning down work with another tree surgeon if i have my own customers booked in. Usually i'll give him at least 1 weeks notice that i have some of my own work booked in and if i can i'll juggle dates to suit him as long as my customers are happy with that. Mutual respect etc.
  16. Is that a CS100 or the older model GMR 100 ?
  17. Yer inbox is full and i need to message yew!
  18. Nah Jomoco, it needs a better/stronger repair than epoxy. Tig Welding is the answer me tinks.
  19. broken AV mount ?
  20. so does the Husqvarna 365 special share an identical bottom end as a 372xp ?
  21. your a thug ! you have an admirer at 1m 11s. i guessed you did a dismantle as opposed to a straight fell as it got ya on de telly and free advertising etc ! Ya noice kit m8 !
  22. jaysus thas gr8 stuff, Dipetane Ireland is located bout 3 miles from me mammy and daddies house in Wickla ! I was gonna suggest a LWB trooper commercial, but if ya cud get the older 3.1 in good nick it'd be a safer buy then the later 3.0 version.
  23. God i could lick lick lick that Unimog ! elliott EGD, good to hear ya voicing yer appreciation regarding your dad's hard work in giving you a future.
  24. thats a very good idea. with 2 safes you can 'take your pick.....'
