  1. Hi Timbermill, i've been trying to have a look at your spreadsheet, but was unable to open it. Is there any chance you can repost it. Hope you dont mind. Thanks.
  2. might be a daft question, but how did you fasten the legs to to table top. Were they simply screwed on or morticed and tenond.
  3. R I P, best wishes to all who knew Adrian.
  4. astra vans are spot on, but what about a berlingo in car disguise, roomy and decent fuel returns. Also heard good things about fiat doblo's.

  8. Snap !, i keep thinking about having a go at jcb work, either that or a mini digger. Probably never will tho.
  9. have you got one yet jon ??
  10. In this country its ilegal, who's juristriction does jersey come under, dont they have their own regs ?
  11. Without going into details and opening a can of worms, the basic answer is yes.
  12. Just started work on a renovation project today. Bricklayer has a G reg vw taro, i thought it was an early hilux til i saw the vw badge. He says it still runs like a dream and it has got 200k on the clock, I still prefer the workmanlike styling of the earlier hilux, not the femminine styling of todays variants.
  13. Parents have a cottager2, bought from machine mart, it may of been cheap ( £400) but its spot on, carnt fault it.
  14. Mendiplogs, got some news for you. Buy the FEB issue (on sale now), of Classic Massey magazine, they have got a 2 page feature on MF chainsaws. Should be good reading for you.
  15. Well said. Totally agree.
  16. Try maltings timber in doncaster, i've also used someone in retford but carnt remember who. 88mm x 38mm is fine.
  17. Why dont you have a look at the makita, they're decent reliable saws.
  18. Where did you buy it from, if you dont mind me asking.
  19. Hi sean, welcome to the forum. I am not a pro user ( joiner by trade) but i use saws without any training aswell. I WILL go on a course when i have the time and money to do so, I use saws for my own firewood. However i have never been ' laughed at' or any thing else by anyone on this site. The guys on here are a good bunch that will help you with any quearies or questions that you may have. However the only thing i would say, is to make sure you know how to use the site (i'm still learning), and read other threads first to see if the information your after has already been answered. Oh, and get ready for the piss take (good humoured of course).
  20. Nice one matey, roll on sleepless nights, nappy changes, feeding time etc. Hope your other half is feeling well.
  21. For me, i would stay at the farm, but advertise for extra 'own' work and see what happens. good luck.
  22. :thumbup::lol:
  23. OOoops ! spoke a bit too soon, not engine related but my front suspension collapsed half hour after writing my first post.
  24. I agree with both Peter and Treequip on this one, the vehicle(s) should be parked at the operating centre whenever possible, if your home address is close by they might 'frown' upon you taking the vehicle home on most occassions. To keep legit you are better off sticking to the law, it may be a bind, but not half as much if you dont.
