  1. cheers for that. i've changed the fuel filter on the tw125 and since it has not done it so i guess it was that. for the 150, please could we have a wiring diagram? the full model name/year is: entec 150dh ch30DH made 10/1995 thanks neil
  2. hi cheers for the reply. Entec 150 DH - If you have checked the relay and found it to be ok please double check the connections to the relay base to ensure they are secure and free from contamination. Other things to check are ALL the switches in the circuit, check for mechanical operation and continuity plus check for a loose wire / connection as all the switches are linked and if one has a loose connection it will effect the others , dont forget to check the safety bar switch as well. we checked the relay connections where good befor putting in the new, the switch box we checked all 4 switches, could it be the one in the safty bar system on the drop gate? the rollers have force in them when they run backwards so i guess the mechanics are good, could it possibly be the hydrolic valve activator to change the valve to forward? 125 PH machine - Would suggest you check the choke mechanism is working on the engine, also check the belt tension on the hydraulic pump, check hydraulic filter is not partially obstructed, check hydraulic oil level is ok. its the engine that totaly cuts out, not the hydrolic system, but the choke is certainly turning off propperly, the engine sounds right and upto speed, but it just seams to turn its self off, lake a safety has cut in.
  3. hi i've a couple of questions for my machine and that of my colligues. firstly, my colligue has an entec 150dh (i dont know the year). 2 days running now its been fine first thing in the morning, but when we have come to do a second chip-up, its got no roller feed. they will run backwards but not forwards. we cant see anything obviouse and its not the relay in the system, we changed that as he'd read thats sometimes the problem. any ideas? secondly. i have a timberwolf 125ph, 2010 model. its a great machine! the only glitch i seam to have is when starting from cold (first time or 2 in the day) it starts fine, revs up, rollers start fine... then after 2 or 3 branches it will cut out. it will do this 2 or 3 times. then it will run fine for the rest of the day. again, any ideas? cheers neil
  4. acturly its not registered, i do need to fit cycle bars but other than that no problems. its built to EU spec and there apears to be no problem with it. i've been stopped at a papers check and after questioning its waight (because my licence doesnt have the extra trailer bit) all the gendarm said was its a nice piece of kit! thye are more worried that you have identical tyres on the axel than anything.
  5. your Uk licence is an EU licence so you have no need to change it.... though if caught on the wrong side of the law, the gendarmes can insist you change it so points can be applied (so they can take it of you affectivly) but otherwise dont worry about it. as for trailer waights, yeah i belive it is a big minefield... i was told that any trailer fitted with brakes(over 500KG) needs to be self registered.... the fact that it is under 750KG just means that you can pull it without doing the extra trailer licence part to your driving licence (depending on your age, you might already have that included) i got round it with a TW125..... anything over about 3inch is firewood!.... this also stops me needing to take my trailer licence as i have learnt to drive over here.
  6. yeah, i'm here too, working in the same area as bretonboy. belive we have a join job on in january....
  7. i've got an 05 belingo. its simple to keep in good order, runs like new still with 160000KM on the clock, 1.9D basic engine (no turbo or anything fancy) eco on fuel and pulls the TW125 like its not there... all my gear fits in it easy. i'd recommend it.
  8. and from here in france, i look at buying saws when i come over to the UK, because they are alot cheaper than they are here. last year i bought a 660, with a 30"bar and chain, £850...... here in france i was qouted between 14500 and 1600euros for the same saw. the best price being from my local guy who i use often but they still wont do a 'good' price. i just really wish i could mail order them from here, i use F R Jones abit, but they cant send me a saw because i've never acturly been to the store to buy one befor.
  9. try this site for both seats and mudguards. the crud catcher type mudguards are very good. i have one that is straped to the downtube for the front, its very effective. 10. i'm often down in my local bar..... but then it is my fiancée who runs it!! its the only commerce in our village and for 10km around. its a food shop, fresh bread depot, postoffice, coffee room and bar all in the one building. there is only that and the small (26 kids) school that keep the village alive. but i can say its not easy going to try and keep a service in the village and keep people happy and using it. we have to try and keep prices down as much as we can but still with cant keep it anywhere near the price of a supermarket, its almost that expencive from the supplier. the hours are long and i often do a few hours to give her a hand after my days work. even then, we have craft classes and other activities for adults and the kids of the village and people just do not use it. most of the people that use the shop are the older generation who dont want to drive, some only shop with us, but the younger people prefer to drive between 10 and 20km to pick up a few bits of shopping (which is more expencive when you work out the time wasted and the fuel/car use) though befor we took it on, it was them that where complaining saying there should be something there, just in case they need it! jsut cant win with people.
  11. is arbtalk still looking for a logo?? just a thought.......
  12. haha, well you all do alot more work with the logs than we do out here in france... we cut logs to 50cm (20inch).... and people are happy with that, if the want smaller they cut them down themselfs!
  13. here is another shot to give it scale and a shot of the back. its totaly hollow, the hollow being almost 6ft across inside.
  14. here is another old french oak. said to be around 800 years old. behind it is the old village bread oven that dates from around the same time.
  15. tamiya do a good looking radio-control one too..... tempting! Mercedes Unimog 406 CC01 Ref Tamiya 58457
  16. have a look round all the big bike shops, try chainreactioncycles.com or leisure lakes bikes. over the next couple of months, all the bike companies will start to bring out the 2012 models, so all the 2011 bikes will start to get really interesting prices. i got a Orange bikes, crush for a really good deal, its a really good hardtail, great spec and i'd recommend it if you can strech your budget a little bit. i'd also recommend looking for having sram shifters. the X7 or X9 are really good. and if you can fox forks are so smooth. heres my ride Orange crush 08 - rate my mountain bike - moredirt.co.uk
  17. amazing photos! i do the maintainance around a fishing lake, i often see the local otter (he loves the carp!) but the owner of the lake hates it. he has us put up a fence (expert told him to use chicken wire topped by an electric fence, though as i warned him, the otter just chews through it, i re-patch it every week. otters are rare here, less than 200 in the whole north west of france i've been told.
  18. have a look at Orange bikes. they are really well built. the Orange Crush is in your price range, thats what i have, its a brilliant bike, seen here i've made a couple of modifications but thats just for my ride style, its built with really good components. in my opinion much better than anything from halfords.
  19. this thread should be marked as dangerous! i so want a mog!

  23. hi thankyou hama. i thought canker but wasn't sure as there didnt seam to be any sign of anys other organism in the wounds. they do weep sap though. the hole in the ring in the first pic is about the size of a fist and the wood inside is a little soft.
  24. hi i've got a cliant with several trees with this bark damage/growth. it seams to form a ring around the tree, either the main trunk or branches or both. there is one that has already broken at one of these rings.
  25. they are really not that expencive, as others have said, it'll pay for its self in one or two jobs. ISC Port-A-Wrap | F R Jones and Son RC1000 floating lowering device | F R Jones and Son
