  1. Every one I've used has done that
  2. Aye, that's on my list too
  3. It's a mugs game having anything else in your life apart from work!
  4. Ha, was midday, looks midnight though, I climb during the day then do the stump grinding between 8pm and 4am.
  5. That's possibly the most disgusting thing I've ever seen, should have had a cs 100 for that bad boy
  6. Friday for me probably
  7. Bloke wanted view from his pod, lovely bit of woodland he has planted all sorts, bamboo etc,
  8. Has anyone got a direct line number for the above? Lost the will to live on hold at council switchboard today!
  9. That's a shame, I was having a whale of a time reading the comments
  10. Seems a bit vindictive, the way you talk your business is thriving. So why shaft a couple of competitors so much they have to leave the country?
  11. Bloke who was buying all the timber off the job offered us an avant to load it with, I now can't imagine life without one, where's the cheque book
  12. I've used two cs100s both hunt,18 Hp
  13. Customer made us lunch! Lamb burgers from his own flock, love my customers on days like today,
  14. Pops and a rank stump
  15. Winning
  16. Oh, I thought that was industry best practice! Better up my game!!
  17. Steak and chips, or minced beef. I'll get me coat
  18. Mog does sound a bit pricey tbh, although it's probably what you should be charging! I personally wouldn't pay that much, on the other hand tracked chipper with operator price seems a bit cheap, take £100 off your mog and put 50 on tracked chipper.(imo)
  19. He wanted to get £500 for the wood, 100 quid for moving it, I've sold £400 worth provisionally. I'm getting good money on the job, I'm in a much better situation to sell the wood than he is, he's a valued repeat customer. It's no real problem for me.
  20. Hang on a minute, I priced the job at a fair price for both me and the client, he wants to try and recoup some of his costs selling timber. There are several people lined up to buy it, however trying to get them all to the site at the same time when finishing job won't happen. Easiest for me to clear it all and leave a tidy site and recoup the dosh over a couple of weeks. I won't lose any money. The job is tidier and customer happy. What's the problem
  21. Now that is heavy duty, bet you manage to bend one anyway!
  22. Will have some whopping macs at end of September, keep you posted
  23. I'm gonna get it all shifted to yard, it's gonna owe me £600 by the time it's shifted/paid customer.
