  1. That's my pricing motor!
  2. Hopefully, there are about 100 trees in total, we are going back in November for another week on em. They seem up for having us in every 3 years or so to keep on top of them and money no object, will probably be sick of the sight of them after the next couple of days!
  3. Need a tip for aprox 3 loads clean chip and 2 of logs(conifer) end of month, happy to pay a bit of beer money. Cheers
  4. Day 1 and 2 of a 4 day pollarding job 12 pick up tipper loads of chip so far!
  5. It's unreal isn't it,?! It's like they've only just noticed that branch is growing right through where the gable end has got to go, despite digging footings then building up to within 6 inches of it
  6. That's cheap as, did the 600 include materials?
  7. Little Apple prune, couple of sumacs out, done by 10 30. Picked my daughter up for weekend, so all in all pretty good
  8. That's a much better analogy than waitrose compared to lidl, I'll use it next time a customer takes a sharp intake of breath when I tell em the price!
  9. Dr Evil would buy one, he's a big fan of a "lazer". And sharks.
  10. Photos would be good
  11. Aspen reduction and a bridge with 2 ton limit, taking a tracked chipper next time!
  12. I've got a single crack in mine, haven't got round to sending it off but am not worried. The only time the zig zag freaks me out is if I get it caught on a branch and it flexes the "wrong" way if that makes sense. I know in my head it won't break but it's a bit disconcerting!
  13. Ain't that the truth! Make more money more easily poncing about with the tiddlers
  14. Phew, that should put a stop to the stihl v husky debates!
  15. I really wish I had taken an after photo! And it was a thin not a reduction, thought that would have obvious!
  16. Out with new improved "rig" today, finally fitted tipper onto pickup and new old chipper courtesy of open space man on here. V pleased, the cs100 is sulking!

    Tiny echo!

It's capable of cutting biggish wood, but I wouldn't use it in place of an 020 on a medium/large dismantle,

    Tiny echo!

Used one today, amazed! Loads more grunt than a 150, really really good saw
  19. Tipper back finally on! And now the starter motors just died! Swings and roundabouts.........
  20. Yep, in that situation if you absolutely have to block the pavement a switched on attentive groundie to help pedestrians around is a must, very selfish to think otherwise IMO.
  21. None of my "project" vehicles have ever been completed anywhere near their expected due date!
  22. I know it's not a mog but I went to local nfu office and they insure my cherry picker for 160 a year all in. Which is dirt cheap!
  23. My flaps fell off within 6 months
  24. Yeah if we go back down to the harbour I will, there is some serious kit there!
