If I was cynical I'd think that the banks want everyone on business accounts because you have to pay fees to have one. When I opened my business account there were no fees and it's stayed the same since.

Santander website said this morning you had to have a business account, BUT, you could open one there and then to carry on with the application, I've got one of their business accounts so it didn't affect me. I also spoke to another forum member who told me he'd spoke to his bank and they were down the business account route.

I know a wide variety of people from many different walks of life, I know none that would kick a £1k a day into touch. Maybe we're diffent coming from the Midlands and living in Suffolk.

Correct, it's 15 days. The cooling off period is 14 days, but it doesn't come into play until the day after the contract is agreed. Dont believe me?... check it out.

Your man in the video you posted states that the BBC "had him" about the bleach, and didn't need to do anymore. He didn't understand it, or he did a poor job of explaining it.
