Yep, it's all sorts things. I looked at a van recently, t"was tidy apart from the airbag light being on, airbag ecu knackered. Dealer said he would sort it in the next day or two... until he found out there are none available due to Covid. A mate of mine has got a small extension to build, can't get the bricks he needs. You got it, due to Covid.

T'was roughly, but close enough for an estimate. If your drive was mine and you can get planings I'd scrape it off and get a few lads on rakes and a roller. It would be done in a day.

I'll give you a good example, where I last had a place was on the main road through the village, the locals in the village pub were always complaining about speeding motorists, my ex Mrs organised a camera van through the parish council. You got yet?, she was vilified by the very same people when they were caught speeding through the village.

I don't know where 40% came from above, I also don't know where a construction industry scheme comes into tree work. I'd guess some tree work on construction sites could fall under CIS?

Yep, with 10 years experience, leading a team with those tickets warrants £16.50/hour imo. Wether he can get it is a different thing. Based on an 8 n half hour day.

£140/day is £700/week top of his ticket plus holidays etc ain't bad money up north. That's where I'd want to be with the OP's experience and tickets.
