  1. That is the way most do it. To me im just gna wizz them. I even pay for the genuine ones. Busy doing all sorts dont need to add sharpening teeth aswell
  2. Just what i was thinking
  3. Glad i didnt buy it then! looked at another but will stay as i am Also i think when i change my tracked machine i'd go for at least an 8" machine
  4. Not heard of them up to now. Heard the jcb's i mentioned like to set on fire on after some research i did lol shame as looked a nice machine
  5. What model is that bob? Seen a nice jcb 527-67 for sale
  6. Any links to this please? Not been on tree life website if they have one
  7. I need to decide what to do with this donkey... 8' wide, bit too long really aswell Might move onto another trailer but still needs a grab etc at some point as still using chains at the moment. Any suggestions? Or just move it on and buy somethig else? I really do like a flat bed rather than normal timber trailers
  8. No chance for a couple of hundred pounds. Id dig them out if i was you or up your budget to 1000-1500 and then thats for a pee wee grinder
  9. That looks a great sized timber trailer. Would be just what i need! Most seem to big and numb but that looks bob on! How wide is it?
  10. This debris netting... is it agricultural stuff? Cheers

Think youve talked yourself into the forestry ones there Tom. Might be a good investment if you plan to keep tractor for a number of years
  13. I know what you mean. Get to end of day and had enough and just tip it out will still be the method i use i bet lol Whats this truck look like? Pics?
  14. That does sound a good idea! Im going to try be a bit more organised and stack processor stuff and pile rings separate and then have a pile for bigger lumps that need cutting into rings. My other issue is that the chip pile is at the other end of the yard up on a messy bit. Theres always something lol but anything that can make the job easier and look after your health im up for!
  15. Possibly yes but would need someone me better boots on as quite low! My only thing is ive spent money on things before that arnt suited to the job and just make do. I want something on top of the job
  16. Love 3cx have you seen the prices they command now? Enthusiasts love them! Great machines
  17. It would maybe be possible, but yard is rented would have to see. Also it gets snotty due to other tractors going past chip pile and when its wet turns it into a kind of rice pudding / cream mix! Thinking of a 4wd loader tractor as can save my back on site which is the main thing. Take away as much manual handling as possible
  18. Finding something suitable, clean and genuine is a lot to ask though lol
  19. Would like something to take to site also. Want to get one decent machine that will do me for years
  20. I have 2 big concrete blocks then a big heavy splitter on the back of mine but feels like it could still do with more weight! Bet theres 1100-1200kg on the back as it is
  21. One thing i will say though is visibility on the 2wd tractor loader is poor! Cant see front of forks if going in to get an ibc from the floor. And poor for when leveling bucket to ground to goninto chip pile without picking up any crap. Can more be seen from a 4wd tractor or same issue? Teleporters frwst just boom out to see forks
  22. Allready have a 2wd loader tractor and ace for the logs etc but not enough puff for shoving into the wood chip. Gets really snotty up near woodchip pile! It may be better with some better rear boots on but not sure that will sort it? Main thing for me would be 4wd and loader for use on site. Ideally 85-90hp.
  23. What do people use in their yards for sorting out the logs, splitting, processing on processor. Shoving chip pile up. Lifting bags of logs etc? To me its part tractor loader and part teleporter! Teleporters are great and i use one with a decent bucket on that takes no time to shove chip pile up or load trailers / wagons etc What are 4wd tractor loaders like? Whats everyone use? Or do you have both? Cheers
  24. Has the winch been knocked up or is that how they came new? Looks huge! Would be good to see if there are any courses or training days for such equiptment and winching
  25. That looks ace! What he pulling it with? 956xl or 1056xl? Get that winch bought John
