  2. yours wheel'd or tracked Mick?
  3. Yup stanley blade is good. I have pins in the house but if out on the job i have a pack of stanley blades in the door pocket for this very reason!
  4. Just wondering on peoples thoughts on an upgrade from a vermeer sc252. For starters I will say I always do a proper grind, not just a 6" under the surface kind. The 252 has been an awesome grinder and I've tackled some big stumps with it 4' dia etc.... Im possibly looking for something with better traction, wants to be narrower as the 35" can sometimes be a hindrance. Most likely something tracked? but havent discounted decent wheel'd version. I've seen the predator 28 and 38 etc would love a diesel due to fuel saving but think the engine noise from the 28 is horrendous or thats how i remembered it! Not bothered about new, Ideally 10-12k budget no more. Important for the machine to be a deep grind one 16-18" etc not just a surface scratcher lol Any suggestions? Have even considered having the 252 mounted on tracks but not sure who can do this or how much it would be. Cheers
  5. Without pictures it never happened ?
  6. Good thread. Be interested to know. Sent a pic of a piece of machinery to a local blasters asking for a rough price and their availability and heard bugger all back.... Really really don't want to tackle with the grinder. Won't do anywhere near a good of job as proper blasting. Do people not also offer blasting and priming as a service?
  7. Good spot! Great what a fresh pair of eyes can see
  8. Bastardo..... Loader bracket bolt.... Big ISH thing.... Tried heat with my little torch and stilsons.... Then welded a big nut on and then heated the heck out of the bolt and casing.... Bolt sheared behind the weld.... Twat. Left for another day. Any suggestions?
  9. And if you get it in straight away it can alter your July payment this year.... Make it more or less.... Always better to get it put in asap then you know where your at.
  10. Universal credit then?
  11. I may see about splitting pli Eli and plant across different companies maybe... Good idea
  12. That's one thing that pissed me off with trust is they will try stiff you for more every year. Tried to load my premium up by 700 last year! I've spoken to a few people who have all said the same
  13. I was looking... There was a really rough one at 3500 plus vat then a lot cleaner one around 7500.00 Bought a mini digger and grab in the end. Lot better for me
  14. I like my Flemming tr8. Some things like tailboard are a bit thin etc but overall happy with it
  15. No more pics? Possibly Rowan / sorbus
  16. Exactly... Some folk will spend it then shit themselves when it's due. I'd rather just get it paid and it's done then.
  17. What if you don't pay by direct debit? Just pay it off in a onner
  18. Why not include 2019-2020 after all it's due to be filed soon.... Ends in a few days! Daft
  19. Was aweful an hour or two ago. Just came off it. Seems ok now
  20. I used to find them transit keys wore really fast.... Then you had to do the up down giggle wiggle in the key hole to get it to work. The ignition barrel would take a polished near non existent key but the doors were a pain! Wasn't worth the hassle of the battery running out in the remote! At like 12.00 for a new remote and battery lol
  21. Martin Lewis on ITV now helping and discussing
  22. Said in jest to follow on from other comments I must admit I'm not one of them... I want more brass for me and my family than shiny kit... Kit lost its appeal to me a while ago. I pay my fair share of tax just wonder if they're going to help after I've made my contributions yearly
