  1. Yikes, deep pockets little arms me Doobin lol I'm a Yorkshire man after all back to my 12k theory
  2. Nah, wants to be a bigger digger, we have a tractor and loader and a botex 11t trailer with 560 crane also
  3. Yes seen the 5 years 0% finance..... just wonder how much a new e27 is lol don;t know who the local person is yet....
  4. second hand? 8-12k? i dont need beautiful
  5. What diggers do I need to be looking at to purchase then? any to stay clear of? possibly 1.8t but more than likely a 2.5t machine..... Thanks
  6. This is the Volvo with do you class it as a fixed grab or grapple? Love the thing! Couldn't get tractor to trees so digger brought them out in 6-8' sections Ideally next digger wants more weight, and ability to have grab and rotator and twin speed tracking
  7. What's the older Kubota kh66 etc like? Spotted one the other day that will be coming up for sale..... or wondered if I should just go a lot newer. This old kh66 done nowt though and that's a 2.8t
  8. Is a 1.8t big enough to run a grab and rotator? Currently run a 1.5t which only weighs 1350kg! With a fixed grab and think it's awesome! Running this track base size I can take digger and grinder to a job at same time etc..... Just wondering if the 1.8t is a upgrade and fit for the grab and rotator or they're just to heavy for the machine..... Two speed tracking be nice also!!!! So it's either newer 1.8t and move the little Volvo on or keep the Volvo and buy a bigger 2.5t-3 t machine..... Don't have loads of space or brass either
  9. I think the Vermeer bolts must made of cheese so going to source elsewhere...
  10. Well I have to say Matty you jynxed me! Hit a rock today and snapped the bolts clean at the pockets and huge wobble! Ball ache! Had to go home.to get bar and Allen socket.... Removed the other side so should be balanced but it was horrible. Not balanced at all.... Just about managed to finish stump and was glad to switch the machine off! The way Vermeer did it was best I say!
  11. Get all my bearings and belts etc at my local bearing factors : https://www.onlinebearings.co.uk/home.php
  12. Poor thing grinding these 5 large stumps out in this bed with boulders the size of jacket potatoes! A sea of them! Did those big 5 and 39 conifer stumps in the day! Hell of an old girl it is! Takes some beating!
  13. My old girl out last week.... 28-30 degrees isn't fun!
  14. Well Matt it was only 26 quid per bearing the other day so I wouldn't worry
  15. Dunno Matt... Ive considered it many times..... Says me who's just changed the cutter wheel bearings again on mine! Though mine does get thrown at everything when really a bigger machine would suit the job.... I would have thought maybe 4 teeth one at 12, then 3, then 6, then 9 oclock? Some left and right but also centre ones Looks a big gap / distance before its hitting the stump again a half turn of the wheel? thats why teeth at every quarter?
  16. Yes that's true. I was gutted when my t series went back but on the other side of things the case I bought instead (and had a mountain of change left over) is more nimble with most things than the t series would ever be The only n series I were looking at were basic crappy things.... Yours being a lot newer has the bells and whistles and plenty of umph wear well
  17. Very nice John seems a lot of folk going for higher hp n series over the bigger t
  18. Well Im still young and barmy..... and to be fair theres a good few outfits around here that are a shower of shit. Charge good brass and do half a job. Easier to mend your own. Shame as would prefer to pay someone for some bits and bobs. If the valtra i bought a few months back didnt have to go back then I would have been fine! Just pay their backup services and smile but wasnt to be
  19. Balls deep in the back of the tractor yesterday and today
  20. THIS ADVERT HAS EXPIRED!

Timberwolf 230 dhb 750kg road tow machine Year 2016 Purhcased by myself new in December 2016 from spectrum plant and has been owner operator in my own business. Currently has 434 hours and was services approx 10 hours ago. The machine is fitted with sealed flywheel bearings not greaseable (sealed are better) I have 2 chippers and split the load between this and a tracked machine so hours clock up slowly. Reason for sale is that I am going for a bigger chipper and used tracked chipper quite a lot. Please look at the pictures for condition. Gave it a quick wash the other day and it looks well. There is some rust as can be seen by the ignition barrel area and a few other bits around the machine. This machine has been kept indoors over night etc. We do take the chute off overnight and is stored ontop of the machine so there are some scratches on the top etc. THE VICE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. Drawbar rubber boot needs replacing. Machine has had a different jockey wheel fitted due to old one being threaded. Few spare sets of blades that can go with the machine (will need sharpening but nearly all are on their first sharpen ) Signs of use as to be expected of a chipper this age and hours. This was fitted with a fresh chassis by spectrum plant under warrenty when all the recalls went out. Mechanically everthing is running well and it sips diesel whilst performing great! Cosmetically id say 7.5-8 out of 10 but maybe thats a little harsh. You be the judge of that. I believe the new 230 chippers are 17250 plus vat but with only 24-25hp now! This will be a great chipper for someone with relatively low hours and the full power engine. Looking for 11250 plus vat for the machine ( a smidge more than a new tw160 but miles better performance!) Sold as seen, Happy for machine to be tested out etc no problem. Based in Barnoldswick, Lancshire For more info please message me on here Arbtalk.
