  1. Same setup monkey but them roll pins wont come out! Seized solid. And ones got a punch snapped 20mm in! Im hoping them flat legs are avaliable then i can buy them and cut old ones off inc pin. Bearing are shot big time, just bearing races left. So for others will require pins and bearings also Cheers chris
  2. Bloody hell what a scare! I hope recovery is made very quick and you do not get any more scares! All the best, chris
  3. Just looking at changing the track roller bearings as they are shot on one side! There's 3 little rollers, these require bearings and shafts thats fine, the big one at the front!!! What a PITA! Theres a flat leg down either side, with a pin through the roller, split pins secure the pin through the roller to the flat legs. Absolutley no chance them pins coming out. Im hoping you can get the 2 flat legs and the pin inc split pins from redwood! So i can just cut the bugger off and get my roller off. Anyone had any experiance with this repair? Also redwoods or local bearing factors for bearings? Cheers
  4. Kaaz mowers are shaft driven, more positive drive! buy new.
  5. I went for a cobra 21" pro, same as kaaz, kubota etc

Its just another vulture culture for the op to go on
  7. Yup belting saw!
  8. Anyone ever had it where carb screws seem to back out on their own? A carb on on of my 200t's keeps backing the screws out so running rich and being a pain. It is an older 020t carb fitted. Going to put a different carb on but wondered if anyone else got similar problems? Thought a bit of blue tack between screws could help.
  9. Get over to dick leighs not that micky mouse shop

  11. I've been meaning to service my tw150 for a few weeks and its been waiting. Just got round to doing it tonight. I ordered some filters up via local motor factors with filter numbers matched with mahle numbers. Fuel filter is ok but the oil filter is quite a bit smaller than the kubota one i fitted last time! Does it matter about the capacity of the oil filter? I asked what the oil filters went on and was told japanese motors like mitsubishi shoguns etc.... i'll try sort a pic out. The thread looks to be the same and the o ring seal is the same its just a small filter! the one fitted to my jensen is the same size as the kubota one removed off the tw....
  12. Sounds like some sour people here wanting both sides of the coin. Doing comercial work charging vat etc, getting vat back on things unlike none vat people, then coming back to domestic market and saying its not fair that others dont charge vat.... Come on, as for vat at 20k i hope they never vote you in
  13. Only thing with yours hodge is you tilt the bed back thus bringing chipbox towards chipper 2ft or so. I think i may just end up cutting 2ft off my draw bar, just looked at it now as loading up and it could easily take it
  14. I want one for all tasks really, carry chipper or grinder, landscape and fence materials, deliver logs, maybe carry both chipper and grinder, probabilly need the 10x 5 for that johnny? Also do you agree drawbar way to long? Was considering having it cut down in length... But sometimes better to get the right thing first time
  15. What is your location? A local member may have a saw or point you to a reccomended source / dealer
  16. What size is that Tom? 84 85 ? Cheers
  17. Going on about external measurements for access and behind trucks
  18. Also what do they weigh?
  19. Not bad then, maybe its just how it looks in the pictures to me... Need to have a think now then
  20. Has anyone tipped one of these over? They look really top heavy and tall. I really boss my pedestrian 25hp grinder about and at all angles etc and think id end up tipping a side winder over easy.
  21. For instance, a tw125's chute is a foot or 2 closer to the truck than a 150tw! (road tow)
  22. i thought the extra 2 1/2 ft closer would aid it better. with hardwood its great, conifer etc its awful on the fluff!
  23. Im just curious if anyone uses a ifor williams gd trailer oppose to a plant trailer for their tracked chipper? The drawbar on my plant trailer is 6ft long, then the chute is another 6"-12" back from the front of the chipper so its 6-7ft to throw the chip before it gets to the back of the truck! I just leave chipper on trailer and use like this. The ifor williams gd trailers come with ramps and maybe a 3-4ft draw bar. Food for thought as im thinking about getting shut of the plant trailer and getting a gd 85 or gd 105 inc ramp. my only reservations are from going from 1.8mtr wide to 2.2 mtr wide.... thus sticking out more from vehicles.
  24. Whats your location? Also would a 60cc not be better for you? Happy for 15-18" bar
  25. Next time i buy a motor id like to drive in, trade old one in. Pay for new one, get keys and drive away I wish lol
