  4. check EVERY button,, ALL the gadgets ESP the suspension up/ down, and that side of things... and take a mortgage out for fuel... drive it on a bumpy bit of road/ track and feel for play/ rattling in the steering, check the spare is a full size not a space saver, full service history is a MUST

    3rd shot down is a famous jetty i do believe... great examples of HDR there..
  10. if the tractor has a bucket couldn't that lift you the 8-10 feet and bobs your uncle.. as for climbing, i'd bet you have stronger arms that you think,, strong enough to not need any 3:1 pulley system like most of us...

  14. the amount of effort/ time it's taken to get this together must have been immense,,, for those of us (like me) who are learning this is the kind of resource that would cost a fair bob elsewhere, so i think i'll be making small donations when i use this to help with the maintenance and upkeep of this fine site, if anyone else would like to donate i'm sure it'd be put to good use.. thanks steve and all involved with this..

    me,, i use a G9... swmbo has a 50D, cousin (snowboard mag editor) used exclusively leica, we also have a nikon D80 knocking about,, i pretty much use the G9 as it's small enough to carry about... lacks in a big zoom and wide angle dep,, but otherwise it's top banana

    using a plug in for photoshop.. HDR photo software & plugin for Lightroom, Aperture & Photoshop - Tone Mapping, Exposure Fusion & HDR Imaging for photography some newer top end DSLR's will now take the three shots for you..

  22. sorry should clarify, i AM using a VT BUT only on the bigger stuff, when using the tachyon 45m for my two short lines i use good old fashion prussik

    i play with it, it only looks good on SOME images,, mainly architecture, it will only work on images with no moving objects as you have to take 3 shots each time..
