  1. I'm not aware of the details but I believe the hospital described the prank as humiliating for her, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I thought suicide was illegal If someone's actions cause someone to take their own life surely it's inevitable the police will want to talk to those involved, not implying they are wholly responsible but the poor woman would have had to live with that for the rest of her life. 3. I had one fri, not in and no answer on the mobile, they got 5 mins, they rang later they claimed to have been there before admitting to being "a little bit late" I think they expected me no wait not realising that would make me late for the rest of the quotes that day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thats the thing though, every year elms die then they sucker then they get to x height then the beetles feed on them and infect them because they ate infected elms for brekkie. I think so anyway, just hope someone more knowledgeable doesn't come along and shoot me down, call me a halfwit and be generally rude about the whole business:001_smile:
  5. I'm in Surrey and pretty sure most of them are Ulmus procera round here ( not 100% on that though) They seem to reach 20-25 feet here before they succumb and I read on here somewhere it's to do with the size of the phloem tubes but tbh I've only picked up snippets here and there so hopefully one of those proper tree expert people will be along to fill you in better. 6. Think he says various woodland sites Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. English elm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Pretty sure yes They only grow from suckers making them a clone of the parent tree, no evolution so no immunity developing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Pretty sure they will all be growing from the old root system not from the seeds which aren't viable and as soon as they are big enough for the beetles to feed on ded will get em. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Does it have an indicator to tell you its low?
  11. Did you notice my post? That one up there above your one.

  13. Just the one this time then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If my post on the mouldy elm triggered this I thought at the time I pressed some thing twice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Bugger!! and it's getting chilly.
  16. Just thought I'd add this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Nicely put.
  18. Does it keep its edge after ?
  19. Found the curved blade a pain after using a straight one for years, kept on getting the tip snagged up as it wasn't where I was used to it being. Natanoko for me for the last 5 yrs, though it can be a bit too chunky at times Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Think it was my cheap spikes, sorry about that
  21. Unless I have a big fell or reduction on I often find I just chuck the wheel barrow on purely because of the weight . Arbor trolleys are rubbish for stump grindings too. But punctures and weight aside a fantastic bit of kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That's the best thing I have ever seen on here, love it:thumbup1:
  23. Nothing better than elm that's been standing dead for a few years with all the bark fallen off, leaves a lovely bed of embers. I've got some 4 or 5 year old yew that's pretty darn good too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
