  1. Might help to put a contact number in your listing. Good luck with it all
  2. Sorry for your loss but he was a handsome chap. Wish I could get mine to that age as well, very impressive.
  3. Found this proud mum sitting near the local village pond on an early dog walk this morning. Ten youngsters in all but couldn't get them all in due to nervous duck and curious Rottweiler, so bit of a quick snap and go photo.
  4. Don't take the piss, he's the bloke whos machine was posted by BigJ in this link (bottom of page 103)
  5. That's shocking. £65 for one hours labour and they never did the job
  6. I'm so very sorry for your loss and acknowledge the courage it took to make that decision for the sake of your dog. Thoughts are with you m8
  7. Most disturbing thing is the fact the original poster (15 year old) will probably have to ask his grandparents what that reference means. I now feel really ancient
  8. Have a look on Pets4Homes site, there are usually puppies/litters of most breeds available all over UK, some from breeders and some from private sellers. There are rescues/re-homes as well. The site says it makes sure the sellers are not puppy farms. I only found it when I was looking to re-home a Rottie after my last one died. Not sure if I was lucky or it's the norm for the site, but the seller I got my dog from was genuine and very careful about letting me have him. Pets4Homes | Puppies for sale, Dogs for sale, Kittens for sale in UK WWW.PETS4HOMES.CO.UK Pets4Homes is the UKs most popular pet classifieds site. Buy puppies, sell puppies and adopt dogs, kittens, cats and other pets in your local area.
  9. Walking the dog a couple of weeks ago when a Lancaster (think there is only one still flying, not sure though) flew overhead. Don't know if it was a shakedown for a commemorative flight to mark this anniversary or something to do with the coronation. Impressive sight and what a noise
  10. Best of luck and hope you enjoy it as much as I did 😎
  11. https://arbtalk.co.uk/forums/topic/132405-how-do-you-become-a-forestry-timber-cutter/#comments Have a read of this link, some info that might be of helpful for you, think it contains some other links to threads of use as well
  12. So new, it's only just been rumoured on the internet. Husky dual fuel saw, pie and beer.
  13. I've worked with tree climbers who couldn't tie a knot as robustly as that young lady.
  14. I'd love to be a big evergreen oak, solid, and impressive. But coming from Norfolk I'm more like a scraggy old sallow, annoying, all over the place and usually up to my knees in water and shitty, smelly bog mud
  15. Have worked with a couple of guys that one or another NFU branch wouldn't insure but they tried a different branch with no worries. Not sure what difference that each branch objected to but both of the blokes were certain they had given the exact same answers to the questions asked (not telling one place the vehicle was modified, telling the next it was a bog standard item).
  16. Another NFU fan, always been competitive and helpful when contacted
  17. Wish you were closer, I'd get you take some for me, we've an albino heron and a bittern around here that I try and get a picture of (only on an i-phone) to put on here, ends up looking like dust spec on the lens
  18. Not got a pond, but got this at the bottom of the field behind my house, part of the dog walk and somewhere to watch plenty of wild life
  19. It's his favorite, takes it to work and ignores all the more expensive ones that were intended to keep him occupied 🙄
  20. New apprentice, 18 month old replacement for my old mate who died just before xmas.
  21. My little empire (sorry for the poor picture quality)
  22. I use the husky ones, they are good but the auto tune means I can't get some of the channels that have a slightly weaker signal. Had manual tuning set before (not sure of make) and could get more stations
  23. I bought one about 18 months ago, it's very well made, strong deck and pillar. I got the waist high table, although still need to put onto a pallet to make it more comfy to use. Can split an Ifor Williams trailer full in about 45 minutes. Of course a processor would be nice and save having to disc the trunks up, but this only cost me a fraction of the price (all I could afford at the time) and will happily do large diameter wood, they gave me the four way splitting head as well, although never really use it. You can get quite quick using the two way splitter
