  7. Cheers Pete all the best to yourself and your family Ive been ringing everybody I know who has kids and posting on here I feel as though Im preaching or might be telling some friends how to look after their kids but we almost left it until the morning thinking we were bothering the doctors. Another thing I,ve been thinking of is people have problems with the nhs but I took my lads in there and they saved their lives for free our country is in ruin in places but we have this privilege and I would of give my life for the boys and any other extreme but all I had to do was take them to the hospital and they are brand new:thumbup:
  8. Hello Lads, Just want to say again thanks for all the posts would like to thank everyone personally but I'll say it to everyone. I felt a bit wrong being on a forum when i thought my boy was dying but at least if it made somebody else act quick I was happy. Well looking at the stats I had many replies and many private messages which were very much appreciated but also hundreds of views, Layton is at home with me now and Dylan is still in hospital recovering, apparently he will ache all over his joints his skin and everything but he doesnt cry much which puts things into perspective when we winge about hangovers etc. he even managed 5 minutes today of smiling and kicking which took a lot out of him, Im so proud of the little soldier and I dont mean to go on but I'll put a pic of them both up from today for those who have watched the thread. All the very best to everybody on here and health and happiness to your families
  9. Aye mate had to go through all that it's horrific isn't it:thumbdown: I'd like to thank everyone for their messages of support it means a lot and it's quite humbling to know a load of rough macho tree men who I haven't had the privilege of meeting can be so supportive and caring Dylan is well on his way to recovery and getting his little character back cheers lads:thumbup:
  10. Yes mate cheers:thumbup: I've phoned everyone I know with kids haha
  11. Thanks a lot lads! It certainly puts things into perspective doesnt it Steve. The rate at which he deteriorated was terrifying I really did think I was losing him and just wanted to see him smile again well he's just smiled at me before:thumbup: I feel like I shouldn't be on here while my boy is bad but when they were born a lot of lads on here congratulated me and if a little reminder makes someone act fast with their child it's worth putting up.
  12. My boys have been a bit under the weather last couple of days and last night Dylan had a high temperature so we took him to hospital he was quickly diagnosed with meningitis! He seems to be recovering very quickly because we caught it early, I watched him deteriorate quickly and last night I thought I was going to lose him. If anybody has any doubts about their children get them straight in we've been very lucky.
