  6. I was only complaining last couple of years that we didn't get proper snow anymore. I hope we get it every year really cos when my boys are older il have a couple of quads for them and I'll sell logs like everyone else to keep things ticking over:thumbup:
  7. Too right and it's usually the toffs in back wheel drive flash cars with big wheels on complaining they get stuck:lol:
  8. You just gotta make the best out of the situations you are in in life. We have had a week and a half off work due to the snow up to now and lost a fair bit of money but I've spent that time with the wife and my boys can't put a price on that
  9. We haven't had ours delivered due to weather does that mean we will get a discount because it isn't out? I doubt it
  10. I missed it but my mate reckons on north east news an old lady was on camera when all the snow came off the roof on top of her she got back to her feet wiped the snow off her shoulders and said "oh well you just have to get on"
  11. If you like marmite Stephen mate bang that on your toast with poached eggs on top it's the breakfast of champions
  12. I'm the same Stephen can't function without fuel in my tank even though I'm only 12 stone
  13. Thanks for the advice yeti think il start some wrist exercises this week see how I get on
  14. It's really sad, like someone already said try to remind your wife that's it the illness not her father when he behaves strangely. My mother really struggled when my gran used to say horrible things to her.
  15. Would be nice if it stops you hitting nails etc in the timber too
  16. Il second what Stephen said my gran suffered from this and certain scumbags on one side of my family turned her against other members of her family and all her money soon went. We weren't bothered about money it's just she didn't have the care she deserved towards the end and my mother will never get over it I don't think. Iam no way implying you may have family members like mine it's just my experience it's frightening what a bit of money does to people. It is hard to watch the decline of someone close to you and you need to accept as much help as you are offered.
  17. Thompson came to us they sent out two good looking lasses with tight shirts on think that's one of the tactics haha they were trying to sell us a package that cost more the more hits you get on it, so I asked how she got my number she had got it from our yell ad, so I said basically we will pay more for people like you looking on our site to try and sell us stuff no thanks! I've had people ring us to see if we wanted buy bin bags does my head in some days.
  18. I missed it first time it is very funny but I can't get the song out of my head

  20. It's a laugh the crap they come out with
  21. I've spent a lot of money on multi bird roasts and top quality turkeys that are fed on special pellets to keep meat moist (think I was ripped off) and I think you can't beat the taste or the smell of a chicken cooking
  22. It's sad when a rogue steals a mans tools they should cut their hands off
  23. Gutted for you matted too many of these posts lately. Regarding the chipper going missing while the lads were in the back garden, since reading all these posts I've bought a chain and lock and chained the chipper to the van.
