  6. Aye I'm recently married and had twins which have just recovered from meningitis so working away is a big no no at the minute. Were booked up until at least the end of the month but wel see after that, was thinking about utility work for a back up I know some lads that could give me that work when we needed it but I'm gonna do my best to stay at home for now.
  7. It's knowing where the line is, always push it towards the line just try not crossing it! Since having kids I stay away from it a bit haha
  8. It's bad isn't it but you will see lads from down country working up here I don't get it, were ticking over nicely for now see how long it lasts if we get stuck I have contacts I used to work for who will give us graft. If I dint work for myself I think I'd go abroad.

  10. No mate I worked with him down country and went to college with him. I've worked away for 9 year then moved back to the north east.

  12. It's a funny old place JTS haha SI is a good friend of mine worked with him for a few year went to college with him etc. Not spoke in a bit like. Would you be the bloke I met at his house? before I set up he asked me to do some climbing for his mate when he was injured but nowt came of it.

  14. I hoped this was case as my brother and I started up only last year so the subby work helps us out. I worked for JTS in the past.

  17. I was worse as an on the books climber I think mate, my father was a very well respected climber they even nicknamed him lorry the legend haha so I felt a lot of pressure to try and fill his boots. There is always a safer way to do a job.
  18. He must have thought I gotta get out at some point? He was still awesome at the time, fair enough didn't run about as fast but he didn't need to experience means you can do a job quicker but break less of a sweat IMO
  19. My father stopped at 38 only because a good job came up driving a mulching machine and doing training, he saw it as the way out while he had the chance. It was definitely the worst thing he ever done he is now really overweight and suffers health problems.
  20. Not sure of bottled it but had to find another way to do it. Could you not have used some pole loppers when you were near the top mate or were the stems too thick?
