  1. Have you used it much whilst it’s been raining heavy?
  2. Just not necessarily one that will run. Still, it’s probably a more entertaining activity over Christmas than doing a jigsaw.
  3. Keep it. You’ve made a whopping saving over the new price.
  4. I’ve used Husq battery stuff in the rain without the slightest hesitation. Not much point having outdoor equipment if you can’t use it outdoors.
  5. I think I’ve bought brand new saws that have been dirtier than than.
  6. @Donone FYI, this is possibly how your original post is being seen by others…. ….. maybe you could redo the picture.
  7. Could be worse though. At least they are in the garden rather than actually being inside the house! …. Oh. ‘Forever chemicals’ linked to cancer common in indoor air, scientists warn WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK ‘We need to stop all unnecessary uses of PFAS as soon as possible’, researchers say

    Jokes???

….. or both, if the donor vehicle was circa 2001~2008.
  9. Maybe it was 2 cuts from 5 different angles.
  10. That is the unforeseen problem with battery stuff. Once you have got into one system, you are loath to get involved in the other stuff!
  11. My biggest dislike of the Husky 540i range was the naff little semi-chisel .325 chain. Luckily I’ve managed to switch them to 3/8 picco, so now they all run Stihl full chisel (same as the 200t), which is nice. (Thanks @Rob D )
  12. Thankyou for your kind words. I feel better about the Huskys now. Shame though, as it sure is a pretty looking little thing!
  13. ‘ere Doug, have you used this in anger yet? Hopefully it’s rubbish, as I went down the Husqvarna battery ‘rabbit hole’ and this looked like first Stihl offering to make me potentially regret that decision* *eye watering initial investment - no way I’m also investing in Stihl battery paraphernalia!
  14. Google. sir+john+rumbelow+1864 - Google Search WWW.GOOGLE.COM
  15. For comparison: Dramatic Video Of Tree Felling In Wicklow Housing Estate That 'Goes Wrong' EXTRA.IE Dramatic pictures have emerged of a huge tree falling onto the front of a house in Co Wicklow. (I only looked it up so I could critique the camera work) The action is right at the start of the video. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it.
  16. Yeah…. Well, I know that now….
  17. +1 I am just grateful that back in the day when I did all my naive sketchy stunt fells, there weren’t yet camera phones about to record my indiscretions and pass judgement.
  18. Shocking workmanship….. …..I mean, what kind of idiot points the camera at the road at that moment. ….should be ashamed of himself.
  19. The bit that’s coloured red above is damaged…. It will never cut nicely like this. You need to file the tooth away upto the blue line (above), in order to remove the damage. The file* also needs to be re-angled in line with the witness mark (the green line). *Not that file though… Don’t bother with doing anything until you have invested in a new file.
  20. Crashed Bandit Chute.
  21. …. Or maybe that should be: The Lion Sling.
  22. The Lyon King
  23. Wallace and Grommit. The kerf of the ware-rabbit.
