If using on a trailer floor, use it over the original one or a replacement floor. I would not use it as the sole floor, if your thinking of putting machinery or vehicles on it, as it will flex like buggery.
  2. Just as well its not a Nissan, it would be in two halves by now.
  3. Don't fancy getting to the towball.
  4. Protector pro comes further up leg than trekkers. 4 lace eyelets as opposed to 2.
  5. $39 for tether and cheapest shipping to UK $69
  6. Looks like pump off and send for checking over. You have not been using cheap diesel or running kerosene mixed in with it as that accelerates pump wear?
  7. IIRC when ignition switch is on there is a permanent live to the solenoid which keeps it latched to keep running. When you turn to start there is 2nd live to the solenoid which lifts the solenoid to the run position which is then kept latched by the 1st positive wire, on releasing from start position the 2nd de energising wire stops being powered and the solenoid is kept in run position by 1st live wire. When you stop both wires should not be live.
  8. Funnily enough I have never had a problem with orders from FR Jones, ordered some stuff between Christmas and New Year from their sale, when they were shut and delivered before the New Year.
  9. You say it overreved can you give more details, was it a runaway engine and did it stop when you turned the key off, or did it keep running? What's the oil level like is it higher than max.. Had a Jensen shit its hydraulic pump dumping the hydraulic oil into the engine oil, it then pumped it through the breather and into inlet manifold and then the engine runs on its oil rather than diesel and will not switch off with switch. We stopped it by tracking it to slow the engine down till it stalled, but it was close to blowing up.
  10. I think you need to follow the hoses and see where they go to try and make sense of what does what, as there could be aftermarket modifications.
  11. Do you have anything attached to the hydraulic outlets, otherwise you will not see anything happening when using the spool valves other than a change in engine note.
  12. Cylinder in 1st pic with valve on top looks like hydraulic accumulator, rotary valve beside looks like a flow control. 2nd pic looks like a diverter valve to change from one service to another. 3rd pic three spool valves to control hydraulic spool valves wherever they are on the tractor,
  13. Got a pair to do as used britpart kit and bearings, bearings are garbage, replace with timken .

    Royal mail

Same in Abedeenshire, one of our saying no stacked post up here it is all stacked in the central belt and south.
  15. SIL in Suffolk is on a key meter (old style), display went tits up, contacted their supplier, it would take an engineer a month to come and change the meter. Options were you can have an old style prepayment meter but it will cost you £170 for this option or a new smart prepayment meter for free. They decided after grumbling a lot to have a smart meter fitted and this was duly arranged for the 18th of December. They got a call to say date was going to change to an earlier one, fitter arrived had a look at their meter went into van took out replacement meter an old style non smart one and fitted it. They got a free month of electricity and £35 for a failed planned meeting and £100 credit on meter for free. Very strange affair.
  16. When we moved here in 2001 it was cheaper to stay on meter than pay via council tax, now its reversed but cant be arsed changing it around.
  17. We are on a meter Andy, old farm supply.
  18. Anyone tried the hitchhiker xf as considering getting one?
  19. Breaker bar on it resting against a chassis rail, either on top of the right hand one in pics or under left hand one, whichever one is likely to do less damage if it comes off, prob left hand one. disconnect electrics to injector pump so it cannot start, then flick the key to pulse the starter and very briefly part turn engine to break the bolt free. once loosened bolt should come out with ratchet and then you have to get pulley off. drape a big rag over breaker bar so if it comes off it does not fly as far.
  20. Like @Johnsond has on his trailer
