  1. Apple canker, cut off affected part and burn. The mildewy part will prob be woolly aphid, diff to control as reduced chemical arsenal now. Could try water with washing up liquid or soft soap, to break up the waxy coating which gives it its grey colour and protects them

  4. Same up here, were doing oversize and edge trees for them, when the all stop order came until they applied to themselves for the licence
  5. It fits into a tapped drilling just below the thermostat housing on the offside front of the engine, same side as the diesel injector pump.

  7. I stand corrected Mick, just looked at the wiring diagram for my 2007 it has one fitted, wires into the stress controller on pin 4. Should be easy enough to wire into the fuel solenoid to cut power to it if engine overheats.

    Winch slings

    I just use normal endless slings, normally yellow 3t ones, or whatever is in the truck. What size winch you bought,1.6t?

  16. Did you not fit a high performance kill switch, or is it a remote control one
  17. take air filter and cover off below it(2x8mm nuts), check the linkages to carb are ok and the throttle butterfly is closing onto the idle screw and opening fully when opening throttle. Should not need retuning after a drop, something has come adrift or out of line
  18. Your right that arborists are kinder on the soles with less walking, but climbing kills boots and soles due to them getting squeezed in forks etc all the time unless your always on spikes but then you need stiffer shanked boots.

  20. Def balmy in Suffolk at mo visiting in-laws after -8 in Aberdeenshire, where when we left the yard was polished ice and lethal, prob the same when we get home
