Used to do that all the time before getting a pulleysaver, main drawback is its not retreivable. Some don't like a crab being used singly as it could open by rubbing without being noticed, could use a maillon instead.

Glyphosate always slow at this time of year as plants dormant/semi dormant, for best results apply when actively growing, not at the moment here as getting permafrost stage, will change by next wk probably. As said for quick results on initial knockdown, use a flame gun For marestail try Icade

Cheap as chips. IIRC Just make sure the newer tyres are on the front than the rear, as other way wind up the transmission. Check out the forums on this

Apparently one single garage roof has replaced recently with box profile sheet at a cost of 4.5-5K, so either the sheeting is the real deal or the customer had their leg lifted.

Already thinking stupid price. Contract lift price of £1700 plus vat. Already 2, 1ft sq holes in roof where 1 stem came down last wk, already cleared off

Have a job to price, removal of a storm damaged leyland cypress. No access tenements behind, garages in front 8ft walls to sides. BT pole with about 12 lines going through tree. The garages are about 6m front to back with a corrugated (asbestos?) roof with a slight fall. No real option of ziplining. Various options :- 1. Contract lift crane tree up and away in a few lifts process in car park in front of garages. Quickish but expensive. 2. Large cherrypicker. Cut small swing round drop bits in car park to process. Slower than crane prob 2 days. 3 . Board out asbestos roof . Do tree as normal. lower down to boards, wall across boarded roof, drop into car park and process . If we went with the boarding roof . What would be your preferred method. We normally board out with 3/4" 8x4 sheets of ply, would it be better to put anything under ply to cushion roof as not in best condition. We would need to board anyway in case anything dropped.

We had a tracked TW230 on hire for a week as working away from home, so could drop at hirer at night to save it going missing. Impressed with it agile and gutsy, only design niggle we could see was on the infeed side, because it had a removable hopper, to allow this there is a 3" adaptor piece. The adaptor piece gives another change of profile to the infeed, IIRC there are 3or 4 changes of angles so a pain as they snap when feeding. When I looked at the road tow it did not have the adaptor as not needed, so much easier feeding.
