  1. That's so cool. Cheers for sharing the pictures
  2. I have this printed in the trucks after doing my ADR course.
  3. For yard work just by a 9th hand wiederman or an old bobcat if you don't want a tractor or telehandler. There is an art to driving a tracked skid steer on wet grass. Or you just tell them how much it saves them on the bill and they normally don't care as long as it's kind of sorted back out. (Bucket and reverse). For me Id have a cheap tractor for the yard.
  4. Ive got a pair arriving in april, they look really good to be honest.
  5. Yep owners car. We've now got to do a report on it as another company had thinned it after the homeowner called them in for advice on fungi they spotted around the base. (Trees not my clients by next door)
  6. Today the crew went and dealt with a oak which had been poorly done in the past. Light thin, deadwood and the odd dropping branch taken off. Second job.... Making safe this and giving them a quote to clear it.
  7. Your welcome, Im glad i was able to help you gain hours towards your scouts award.
  8. the X would explain why the stole that timber off my site.
  9. have you not seen his avatar? he's got white hair!
  10. Standing on one side of the drop zone, Nathan on the other. Everything bar one bit required some sort of rigging and 70% of the crown was over a glass roofed building. Skill - yes Competent- yes Done by 1pm.
  11. Well Nathan's a great climber, fast, efficient and good at rigging. That's from personal experience of working with him. I wouldn't dream of writing what seems a deliberate attempt to disrespect another person for their work. Especially as I know your belittling of his work skills are false. You really need to crank your neck in pal as this is from how I read it a clear and deliberate attempt to discredit a person in the attempt to cause them problems in the future. I had a belligerent boss try to discredit me after I quit as I was head hunted to be a consultant at a much bigger company. Did damage and still had to this day. Just my opinion on your response which I personally think is a deliberate and calculated put down because he's left you and followed his heart by travelling with his skills that he learnt off you. If he had worked for me Id feel elated that I've been able to train up someone that's had the kahunas to travel and use the skills taught in the UK in Australia
  12. wow! good on you guys and nice one from the sponsors. nice pics.
  13. Best one i had was me calling an employee and he was in scotland and decided he want a 2 week holiday. I took it as his resignation.
  14. Currently got one outstanding from 16th December. It's due to go to small claims in a few weeks. Oh and they own a successful wine company.
  15. No. Why would I stage a picture like that?????? The site was thin so the Vermeer helped push it out of the site. It was too heavy for it to lift directly and the sizes had to be certain lengths as they had been sold.
  16. The Avant needed a little bit of additional traction.
  17. iPhone put it on the wrong thread.
  18. what!!!!!!
  19. A few from today. Not a big tree but a slight pain in the rear (didn't like the cost of replacing a single slab). Owned by an a-list American movie star, we even got to have a look inside and saw a real Oscar (well from the other side of the really thick glass)
  20. Oh And I bought you an epic sausage roll because I felt guilty.
  21. Hahah. I think the phone conversation was 5 months ago now. Hahaha
  22. I thought that and took the managerial decision to let Adam do it and tell him I had a nice apple tree for him to reduce. Works every time.
  23. Cheers Paul. Appreciate your comments. But don't tell Adam or it will go to his head. (Jokes) hahah
  24. Cheers david. A real landmark tree as its at the pinch point of three junctions. The credit has to go to adam, we had a second climber on site but didnt need him to climb.
  25. Adam is that good, i dint need to send the second climber up. Which freed me up to do a quick call out.
