A small reduction of some conifers. P.S the cherries in the conifers was the homeowners attempt at tree work. And a Nice couple of pics of cherry blossom

Ok you need to treat it as two seperate pieces of timber as such. E.G a piece of timber which has 45 degree angle. Place your ladder at one end towards the angle Level it up and cut. Once your mill cuts on the bend remove the mill and place the ladder from the bend to the uncut end and finish up. (you may need to cut some high spots down to get the levels to match up). Enjoy cutting.

No 4 had me trying to remember for a few minutes.... Then i couldn't remember so grabed one of my many fungi books and told myself off because i should of know it.

Also if you purchase a mill from Rob D on here you get a sheet of A4 which tells you how to mill irregular shaped timber.

Also i'd put your mobile on it. If its 2 doors down and you've finished the job, you go home, check your message and have to drive all the way back again.

Today i had someones flyer pop through my door 1) it was tiny just bigger than a buisness card but high quality print. 2) Had the nptc logo on it and 5 mill insurance, 0800 no but no address 3) Called themselves tree surgeons but littered the back of the flyer with other products and services Bee hive starter kit £200 Bee hives, wasp nests Removed, Rats, mice, foxes humainly removed. 4) Because it was so small everything looked cluttered I wasn't sure if they were tree surgeons But the company was .... Tree Care Maybe they should of had 2 flyers instead of 1?

Agreed its better to have £100 of something than 100% of nothing. Also if im working in a new area or a village for the 1st time and the job is on the main road/busy street i lower my costs a bit. Still make profit tho, but its if people see you then they may ask for a quote.

The bit that's being placed in the road was because we set all the crane alarms off. Tony is the wee guy in the red and blue jacket in the poplar pics

I found these photos today whilst having a clear out some are nearly 7 yrs old ish. ISA comps were 2006 Scottish and Welsh opens. Will hope to be re-entering this year maybe if i get enough free time. Crane dismantle on a Beech in Earlham Park Norwich (2007), Lots of people as we had to close the main University drive so only had 3 hours to complete the job. The Poplar job was done in 04-05 i think. Tony Sorenson is the handsome guy in the red jacket:001_tongue: (his first year at MJ maybe?). At Alby Craft near Aylsham, First time i'd ever used a speed line.

Me too, I went to another company where instead of doing rigging they just got platforms and cranes in. Then i realised that i was better at rigging a tree than most there (only because were i used to work we didn't really use platforms and cranes) but very average at everything else. Also way below par on crane dismatles.
