  2. Considering some of my customers chuck their logs in a pile outside with no cover so they get wet and burn longer:confused1: guess it doesnt really matter what way they go in.
  3. Personally i dont drink, dont lie,i go to church every sunday, i never look at scantily clad young ladies, i have never sworn in my life, not even when i cut me knackers with my hedgecutter, but i do have one hobby, i,m a bloody liar!

  6. as i sell my logs at £75 a 1.2cubic metre load then £120 per ton is a definate no no. It all boils down to how much you charge as to wheather £120 pt is to expensive or not............not sure you,d get many customers though

  14. The oldest ones ive seen were clay horseshoes, early last century. But wood? theyve got to be a couple of hundred years old at least, 1 inch holes seem rather large for drainage but not having the technology etc. great find. I was told that the early drains were trenches filled with branches.
  15. the least on loans and finance the better, good advice:thumbup1:
  16. 4th pic should be on the overloaded thread:thumbup1:
  17. As skyhuck says, supermarkets sell much more processed meat than the small butchers, but small butchers mainly only sell meat and cant cope with a large drop in meat sales, whereas the big boys sell absolutely everything and a drop in meat sales wont affect them at all.
  18. Sure theres someone out there thats thought, the supermarkets have taken a massive blow (horsemeat), lets hit the small butchers
  19. Looks a bit like eucalyptus, then again maybe not:sneaky2:
