  1. I liked that:thumbup1:
  2. If I remember rightly the wood boss can take a drill/auger attatchment?
  3. Brilliant:thumbup1: good to see another Bedfordshire talent.
  4. If your replacing it with chip are you putting down a weed membrane (black plastic sheeting) ? if so why bother spraying with weedkiller? the grass and weeds wont grow without sunlight.
  5. Tell neil to get off your drive, or you will set the dogs on him jon.
  6. bark looks very cherry
  7. Totally agree, but there are two ways of looking at it 1. concrete posts last forever, wooden posts last at the most 5 years, but with a bit of luck you have to replace them again.
  8. :thumbup1:i don't work in the rain, lifes to short, the job will still be there tomorrow.
  9. Have you had a power cut? They will ask "why" nows your cue (laughing), only the really tough skinned, tight arsed customer wont make you a cuppa
  10. :thumbup1:certainly opened my eyes as to how competent these people are, I just hope in the future we don't see queus (spelling) of wasters wanting to see the chemist as they coughed twice yesterday etc.
  11. no, but I was a brave boy though.
  12. That's it,steri-strips, she even gave me some anti-bacterial wipes and some large plaster come bandage things.
  13. Aussies?
  14. No not small, but the kind lady was a tad overweight, chemists always have nice young girls behind the counter... who did I get? the one they keep out the back breaking up the cardboard boxes etc. Nice lady though, I was quite lucky really, after those gorgeous pics of carol on favourite girls, it was the index finger on my LEFT hand:laugh1:
  15. Not a yes exactly cos she had a uniform on and you couldn't of seen anything anyway, not that I looked though.
  16. I thought it was a great idea as if I had gone to a&e , firstly I would of had to gone home and empty my pick up,get parked at the hospital, then sit there for hours just to get the same service that I got at the chemist,i even put a few quid in the collection box for the local chapel.
  17. Trust you stubby, I wasn't looking ,,,,much:laugh1:
  18. To cut a long story short , last week I cut my finger with a silky, I ran out of plasters so called in a local chemist to get more . The lady said come into the consulting room where she cleaned it up and put a couple of plastic stitches on it??? apparently most chemists will have them to ease the patients going to hospital and waiting in a&e for hours. Brilliant, may cut myself more often now:thumbup1:
  19. Depends totally on how much you can sell it for.
  20. imo you talk a lot of sense tom:thumbup1
  21. I have, twice Put it on the job.
  22. I received a letter from vosa a couple of years ago stating that as my hilux has not got a cat I am barred from entering the lez as my vehicle pumps out dangerous to health chemicals. If I did enter I would receive a £1000 fine. BUT, heres the good bit.......... I could purchase a one day permit for £100.Surely I should not be allowed in full stop .
  23. I agree as that's a fact, but this is why this country is over populated and that's a fact
  24. Totally agreed with Maggie at the time (bought mine) but the outcome is that my village (along with hundreds more) is now not a village as I knew it. All the council house tenants that bought their houses are either dead or moved on, their houses have been bought by yuppie types that don't use the local pub (it closes). As for not enough housing, that's quite simple : labour allowed millions of eastern Europeans in to this country to work when we had nearly 3 million people on the dole??? now their children are having children= not enough houses.
